Garnish Tutorial Carrot Swirls and Vegetable Triangle Twisties

How to carve vegetables into an edible beautiful garnish for sushi
Full Recipe: www.makesushi.c...
In this video Chef, Devaux will show how to make simple yet delicately beautiful vegetables garnish to decorate sushi platters or any other type of food dish.
The first type of garnish shown in this video is the carrot swirl which is simply made by cutting a thin slice of carrot and then carving slits into it after which it is rolled around a chopstick so it can take its shape, once released it forms curly carrot swirl or wave.
The second garnish is the vegetable triangle twisties these can be made out of nearly any vegetable or even scraps (leftovers) which makes it a great simply useful trick to know when trying to decorate your plate with garnish.

I like these garnishes, because they are very low budget but still very fancy.

I love you're videos! ❤ I've always loved cooking. But loved making it pretty too. Growing up for birthday's or special days I'd wake up early and make a food face with whatever food was on hand and that the person liked. Lol it became a traditional in my family. If it was a special day, my family knew they were getting a breakfast face. You inspire me to keep creating and discovering new possablies. Maybe one day I'll go back to school and become a chef. Cooking classes were always my best classes. Thank you for your videos, keep spreading beautiful creativity!

Thanks, I think I can do the triangle twisties lol. I had a sushi dinner party recently and did some of your recipes which were amazing. I tried a couple of your other garnishes but I didn't have the time or the right equipment but luckily they were wowed by the sushi. I love your videos :)
