In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens kzread.infoUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

Hi just bought the striker 4cv. In time zones I couldn't find u.k does it come under western European time zone ? Many thanks for your great videos very helpful 👍

It should be correct at western Europe, but that is a little used term. When it latches on to the GPS it should set the time

I haven't tested it, but the specs say 228 metres
How long is the transducer (length measurement) Did you transom mount or mount it on the trolling motor???

Exactly 150mm. At it's widest point it 52mm and it is 22mm thick. The reason I know is because I measured it just now. I only put on the trolling motor for now, but may put on the transom of my next boat. Thank you for watching. There is a second video going into more detail, and I hope to do a third one soon.

I've set mine up on my boat, when I switch it on its showing 23ft deep and the reading is moving along does it reset itself in water or do I need to do it manually? Thanks

I am not sure what you mean. How deep is the water? Check Device configuration on page 11, and Range etc on page 5

1,750 ft freshwater, 830 ft saltwater for the 4cv. The 5cv is deeper, because it is 500W

I don’t believe so (Even if they did, it would probably take for ever to get to you. That’s if it actually ever gets to you)! Your best best would be to have someone you know (who travels) pick 1 up for you Or possibly try eBay

Yes, 7Ah is plenty good enough
