Comparing optical heart rate sensor on Fenix 5 Plus with sensor strap Polar H10. Those can work together for improving your training. But let's take a look the bpm values and compare it. The Polar H10 (Polar beat account) allows you to export the bpm data in CSV format (text values). The Garmin Fenix 5 (Garmin Connect account) export the file in FIT format (binary), you need to convert this file to CVS in order to compare it. After both files are in CSV format it is easy to plot it. We can plot it using Excel but I did using R script.
