ABOUT THIS VIDEO
This video will compare 2 different golf club trackers and I'll be talking about which one is best for you and also the best place to pick them up.
The first is the Garmin Approach CT10. These are sensors that screw into each of your clubs and will keep track of your club stats such as carry distance, tempo, fairways hit, etc.
The second is the Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors. These are sensors that also screw into your clubs and will keep track of pretty much the same thing. The main difference is that the Arccos system comes with a GPS.
Long story short, both are decent devices but if we were to have a choice we'd definitely recommend the Arccos system. We've been using it for years (the older sensors) and they've been great. Share this video: • ✅ GARMIN APPROACH CT10...
Welcome to Out Of Bounds Golf. My name is Jon and I'm just an average golfer making videos on the internet. What you'll see here are videos on different golf products and we'll be trying to figure out what works the best for the average hacker.
We'll be doing product reviews, comparisons between two similar products, the best gear for different types of players, and maybe we'll just play a round of golf.
I've been playing golf on and off for a number of years now but have become a lot more consistent over the past couple of seasons. Not long ago I was shooting somewhere around 100 and playing "out of bounds" golf way too often.
I've consistently broken 90 now and am working on breaking the 80 mark. My best round to date was 84 on a par 72 and my best 9 holes were 4 over.

Bro you need to DeS your audio. Your S’s are super harsh. Download pro tools first or fl studio demo and clean your audio up, will make you video quality double.
„Arccos system comes with a gps“ That is not true - your handy comes with gps - not the sensors. So Arccos as best pick because of gps isn‘t pretty fair.... please check that!😉😎
Arcoss has built in GPS and the Battery is good for 5 years ?
Thanks for posting these videos! I just recently purchased the Garmin Approach S62 watch. Do I need the CT10 or Arccos system? If so, am I better off going witht he CT10? Thanks for you help.

You don't need to have the ct10 or arccos. They'll just give you extra club data. If you already have the Garmin watch them the ct10 will probably do the trick

For anyone watching > Get the Garmin watch ! Arccos sensors way too glitchy for me. Moved over to Garmin watch and very happy now

The accross dont you have to pay a yearly fee? You sat that you can use the ct10 on The Range, how does that work?

I really enjoyed the video.
I already have the S60, so I got the CT10, and love it, you don't have to tag it after each shot, it does it all.

2 huge differences being the Arccos now require $99 per year subscription. I’ve seen a few comments mention that. To be fair, at the time this video was made they may not have started that. Also the Garmin you can change the batteries easily. And they will also tell you the power lvl on your watch. The Arccos batteries can’t be changed (aren’t meant to be at least and would take more work than it’s worth)
Sorry to correct you but you cannot use the CT10 on the range to amass any data, which is unfortunate.

The other downside with the Arccos is you have to use your phone, or buy their LInk think that connects to your belt. They have a smart watch app but it can't read the sensors only show you the distances. So Garmin may be better if you already have a garmin watch or plan to buy one.
Do you have to subscribe to use the CT10 sensors as the Arccos do charge with subscription

I have the Garmin tags and watch, probably the most expensive out of them all and to be honest I’m disappointed. The club tracking seems to track all shots, so things like an 8i chip around the green records and reduces the average yardage, really poor they don’t sort this. Also, I find the app a bit messy in the performance center and not very clear what your stats are. Anyone feel this?

Are you posting this everywhere ?
Have you actually used the garmin sensors or are you just guessing? They will only work with one of the garmin watches (S20, S40, or S60) and the watch then provides the GPS functionality. Not sure how they would work on the range, because they just tell the watch which club you are using. Also, a big downside to using the Arccos is that you need to keep your phone in your front pocket for it to pick up the club data.

Yes, the Ct10 need a Garmin watch but the Arccos system use your phone. You can use Arccos Link to get rid of that problem.

yep i read that as well as far as i cn tell all the sensors do is tell the watch what club youve got out , and all you need to do is tell the watch tat anyway so they are no real benefit asides laziness

Also the CT10 sensors work with all garmin golf watches starting with the s12, I have the arccos system and it has a lot of issues. The link doesn't pick up every shot. Plus the arccos also picks up chip shots as well so that doesn't matter which sensors you use.
Hier can you use the CT10 on the Range???

Thats NOT true. The Arccos does NOT have built in GPS. It takes the GPS Data from your cellphone.
