However unhappy I am with the RIDICULOUS amount of oil that she's using, it's not nefast fot the heart. Unless you eat this every day till you are overweight. Did you know that butter and olive oil nearly have the same amount of calories? Only the latter has the right kind of fat

Olive oil has the same amount of calories, so if you use it in these kind of quantities, you WILL be overweight and you WILL get heart issues. As the person above states : moderation is everything. Furthermore I have lived in Italy for a year, and no sound of mind Italian would use this much oil : it ruins the dish. She's just doing it for traction..And it's working : we are all commenting on it 🤷 Only I would feel bad if I didn't react and let people think this is normal and maybe HEALTHY to eat like this

Lmao I worked for a restaurant once, and they came out with a pasta that was so garlicky, they had to cut back on the garlic due to the complaints and then staff who ate it had awful breath after 😂

What’s worst is when you’re with someone who loves garlic but has an intolerance to it when they eat too much. They will get so gassy and their farts smell like pure sulfur and garlic. It’s nasty

That is an insane amount of garlic for such a tiny piece of bread. I’m not gonna lie I don’t think I could do it. For one my stomach would just die because it does not like a lot of garlic and too I feel like that garlic taste would be insanely overpowering. After reading the comments and rewatching the video I agree that is also a ton of oil as well lol

Garlic confit is a sweet flavour (think caramelized onions), you can eat a whole clove and it’s not over powering. However, I kinda doubt they eat their creations as they leave on the end/root of the garlic, which is actually unpleasant to eat.

No worries garlic turns out with a very less pungent taste, almost sweet, and burratta being very fresh and kinda neutral balances everything else, I'd absolutely kill that bruschetta 😅

@gamesgambit9340 probably not. I like butters and olive oil but not am excessive amount because it gets heavy feeling and I have some stomach issues. I don't like super greasy foods besides the occasional French fries. My mom didn't make a bunch of fried foods when I was little and I still don't crave them much at all. Lightly sautéed veggies work fine for me.

It probably has around 700 calories. 1 tbsp of olive oil is 120 calories, tomatoes has no calories, bread, probably like another 100 and the cheese got the following 400 calories.

Looks amazing! I personally would only make one change, I wouldn't use raw tomatoes, because I'm not a huge fan of the texture, and I like cooked tomatoes a whole lot more. That's just my personal preference though.
