Your plants look great. I suddenly started having chipmunk problems this year which has severely disrupted my nursery area, normally I'd grown hundreds of nut trees per year in air-prune beds, but those damn things have gotten into them and dug up almost everything I've planted, including some rather precious seeds of American chestnut, seeds from my best timber-type chestnut tree, and others. Sprinkling cayenne pepper all over had no effect, so I'm going to have to do more in the way of physical exclusion (they are small enough to go through chicken wire, which was the first thing I tried when I wasn't sure what was getting in there, at first I thought maybe crows). The joys of trying to grow things! Extremely hot and dry here, too-hope we all get some much needed rain soon.
