    Great update. As far as I understand the situation with Gunnera, it’s just the sale of them that’s banned, but it’s ok to grow the ones you already have,so long as you don’t actively spread them by division etc.

    I have a small pond. One year I had newts too. I love them. I also have different frogs and lizards. I hope you leave a perimeter for naturalization.

    Don't do no mow May if you are then going to mow in June. All the insects that have taken advantage of that environment is immediately lost such as eggs laid etc. Keep your wildlife friendly edges and the lawn for yourself. That's just my opinion.
