Sanitation department, thank you so much for everything you do! We live in one of those neighborhoods that typically has trash pickup on Wednesday, and I found myself spending literally hours shoveling just to clear a pathway to bring my cans from the driveway out to the curb this past week after the snowstorm. We were very grateful when the cans got emptied just one day late on Thursday--our street still has huge snowbanks to the point that we wondered if trash pickup would get skipped entirely this week!

I work for waste management in the salt lake area I do residential side loader I deal with a lot of stupid residents The thing that bugs me the most is when people put their cans up too close /against their cars or literally underneath their mailboxes or put their cans too close together. If I can’t get to it I’m not dumping it. Or when people overfill their cans, if something falls out when I try to grab it, I just leave it I don’t pick it up because it’s not my fault. it’s their fault for overfill it and letting them deal with it. So people do better please 👍
