In this video, I'll show you how I 3D model and build a DIY Welding Cart for my Lincoln 180 Mig Welder in my garage. I'll take you through my DIY process from designing to planning of how I built this custom multipurpose cart from scratch. This is my first cart I've ever built. It has the option to add an additional machine such as tig welder or plasma cutter, or simply use the space for storage.

Cool and straight forward design build. After 3 months is there anything that you would do differently ? Any mods that come to mind. I've just started on a similar build and for one, I'm adding a tray level on top of the welder for a catch all as I work. Like a roof rack for the cart. Thanks for sharing the video !

That's a great way to save space! I sometimes have to weld things outside. Therefore having a dedicated mobile cart for my mig welder makes its a little easier for me. Unfortunately I would of like to store it under my welding table but that thing is 4ft x 6ft and weights 1000lbs. It has casters but I can't imagine having to push it out the garage to the driveway every time.

Not sure what steel prices are now but when I built this it cost me a total of $1200 in materials that’s everything from the table plate down to the casters. I did save a lot of money on the top plate by going with a remnant sheet.

It’s a grizzly horizontal/vertical metal bandsaw. Each has there pros and cons. I’ve had both and prefer the bandsaw. It does cuts slower takes up more space but I like the coolant feature and that it doesn’t shoot metal chips everywhere . And I like that it also can be use as a bandsaw too.

Nice job, really good video - not fond of most of the music. I have had the experience with the front wheels being too small and had to get bigger set. Once you add the weight of the welder, tank and tools, those small front wheels make it difficult if you have to move the cart over rough surfaces.
