Wadjit or Bico is a Tausug confectionery made from sticky rice (pūtan, often the black variety). Although white variety is also used specially when cooking it with Ginger as an added flavor.
The Wadjit or Bico is a type of bangbang sug (Tausug confection) that is always available at almost all local Tausug restaurants in Sulu and Zamboanga city and some other Southern provinces and Muslim localities in the Philippines, specially the one made with the black variety of the Glutinous rice, while the white variety specially the one like we are cooking today are made at home and for special occasions and sometimes sold at some restaurants.

Ingredients:
2 Cups Glutinous Rice
2 Cups of Water (for Cooking the Rice)
1 & 1/2 Cups Pure Coconut Milk
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Thumbsized Chopped Fresh Ginger
Fresh Banana Leaves for wrapping (optional)
