Welcome to the final episode of the crazy Tamil Nadu series. We have been exploring Tamil Nadu for the last 5 days and in the final episode of the Tamil Nadu series, we chose to visit Amazing temples in Tamil Nadu. This video has some of Tamil Nadu's best temples in Thanjavur and Kumbakonam. Thanjavur and Kumbakonam temples are one of a kind. Large temple corridors, temple architecture, and temple engineering are so marvelous that one cannot find such structures anywhere else in India.
Tamil Nadu's famous Shiva temple is more than 1,000 years old and has marked a prime example of an ancient temple engineering marvel. Similarly, numerous other temples are quite ancient and hardly people know about it other than the natives. In this video, We have managed to explore Govindapuram in Kumbakonam, which is popular for its bhajans, intricate Maharashtrain hemadpanti style of temple architecture, and Ved culture, other temple is about Vaitheeswaran kovil, which is roughly 1.5 hours away from Sri Vitthal Rukmini temple in Govindapuram. Vaitheeswaran Shiva temple is famous for the ancient Tamil Temple architecture, a pond that is believed to wash away the diseases present in one's body, Shiva Lingam and Nadi jothidam. Final one cannot be missed, it is about Gangaikonda Cholapuram in Thanjavur. Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple is dedicated to lord shiva and attracts a lot of devotees, travellers, tourists across the globe because of the iconic Vimaana structure and temple architecture.
India is quite rich in history and culture. There are numerous ancient Hindu temples in India that not many of us are aware of. In this video, I have shown Thanjavur and Kumbakonam temples that one must not miss.
