By preferring Shivaji’s seal over the Chola motif of Tiger, India is sending a message to South East Asians. India should make sure that it doesn’t send out any wrong signals even if unintentional. The Chola symbol in Indian Navy can create a scope for China to peddle unfavourable narratives towards India. It’s good that India is acing the mindgames by not creating such an opportunity the symbol is choosen after long thought and discussion

I'm sure we can make a definition with whatever the provided symbols. So don't say something like this bro. It's not about selecting the symbols but about squeezing the history 🙃

Vannakkam and “epadi suham, as Tamils in Sri Lanka say. I lived in Sri Lanka over 50 years ago for 3 years and learned some Tamil. I went to Madurai frequently and spent much time at the Meenakshi Amman Koyil, one of my favorite places in the world. You all are doing a wonderful job of revealing the history of India. I still remember a verse from the Tirukulam. I love you guys.

Raja Raja Cholan is the greatest ruler of all of india. The Tamil's are the original inhabitants of India. The cholas spread their influence across all of adia including china. Tamil's gave India it's culture and classical traditions.

I think ,Rajedhra Chola is actually the father of Indian navy instead of Chhatrapati Shivaji

Half Tamil half Sinhalese from Sri Lanka here. I learned of the great kings of both my heritage. My father taught me about Our Sinhalese kings and their 2000+ year historical acheivements and of the Chola, Chera and Pandyan kings as well You guys have done a great job with this video, well done. Hoping to watch more of your videos.

When I has a chance to visit Tami Nadu, I made a visit to this temple, but most unfortunately the caretakers prevented visitors from taking photographs. This must change. Taking photos is one way to promote both Tamil history and to promote tourism for the local economy.

Taking pics of monuments and temples are different. The groups who are in the caretaking of temples since many Dynasty don't like the temples to be photographed for various reasons known to them. Lets just heed them as it involves their sentiments who sacrificed their Dynasties for the temples.

I remain to be enlightened. The world is proudly showing off their "wonders of the world", but the Indians are hiding them even from photography. Very perplexing.

Wow it's well narrated by explaining clearly about South Indian Tamil King. Arul Mozhi Varman(Raja Raja Cholan) who started to expand Chola Dynasty, while his son Maduranthagan(Rajendra Cholan) who literally conquered ever place in Southeast Asia. Chola also brought their business and trading into various of country. I recommend everyone to read and learn about these great Kings. The history will make you goosebumps ❤️

Glad to hear the word "Chozha/Chola" being pronounced right.. We should teach all indians to pronounce it. It is not difficult. It is just like trying to pronounce any word with an "R" but with an amercian accent... Try saying "Round" with an American accent.. that is basically how you will say the "zh" in Chozha..

The Cholas were the greatest empire in all of India. These Tamil Kings made conquest into south east Asia and spread the Tamil culture and scripts into far away places that also had its influence in China. . Tamils are the original inhabitants of India. And Tamil is the oldest living language in the WORLD !

No it is not the case. Cholas are heavily mentioned in NCERTs for their sangam period and for the trade relations they had with rome,south east asia , china and conquest they made in south east asia.

Yes, of course.I stand corrected. I think my computer may have changed the spelling and I didn't notice. However, it has been over 50 years since then and my memory isn't to be trusted. Anyway, "the flute is sweet, the flute is sweet, but none surpasses the sounds of little children". And I can still recite this in Tamil...at least half of it. I taught Shakespeare at Jaffna College in Sri Lanka and soaked up the wonderful culture. My son was born at a rural hospital and my daughter went to school in Tamil.

Indian Navy should name their largest ships after Rajendra Chola. It is a shame that the North Indians dont even acknowledge South History.

Hey don’t be so naive , they have not told about Cholas, even in Tamil Nadu it’s not told properly. Do you know about north India empire who guarded India for centuries against multiple invasions.

Pls make a video on how japanese Shinto religion 80% god's are mostly Hindu god's, and explain the life story of bodhisena | Nara temple.

Raja Raja chola is the 1st king in the world who built a ships dedicately for an army to conquer the other nation via oceans throughout the world, while other part of the world were built basic ships just for trading. And Raja Raja chola was knows as the Ocean master back those days. This information have a solid evidence till now. No one in the world can ignore it.

Please make video on rajaranarendra and his son kulutonga chola -1( birth name Rajendra Chalukya) how eastren chalukya prince from Rajamhendravaram ( Andhra Pradesh) became chola emperor after death Rajendra chola son ( who is short lived ) and about fascinating marriage exchanges between cholas and eastren chalukyas
