We are really not focusing on the right issues. And by we, I mean myself and everyone worried about the bad development. Chrstine pointed it out well. We can't judge the 15 year olds for being rised up wrong. Parents and society needs to step up. Glad to see another banger English language episode.

Very interesting conversation. We don't always have simple solutions for complicated problems. We need to co-operate with schools, social services, police and also families and solve this problem. But we should still atleast be allowed to talk about how this gang problems are mostly focused on certain groups. Immigrants from muslim countries and africa. I haven't read about asian or indian gangs in Sweden or Finland. Its like Finnish gypsys. They had all the help from society but they just don't integrate. 500 years in Finland. So its not always societys fault. Some cultures also are uncapable to integrate to western culture. There are of cause lot of gypsys that work and live normal life but most of them don't. And we have to admit that gang problem is immigration problem. We didn't have this level problem in 90's. If immigration causes this much problems and expenses we should think does it make sense to take so many immigrants. Is it really benefiting our society? Or even if it also benefits, is the price too high that with benefits we also get crimes. Statistics of unemployment rates of certain immigrant groups are also very high. And many immigrant need lot of support from welfare even when they work. Some immigrant groups integrate and find jobs. Maybe we should choose more immigrants from those groups. It should be also easier to deport person if he doesn't work or if he does crimes. Forexample if I want to move to United States I will have to work. If I don't work or I commit any crime they will deport me. Strict but very clear and fair system.

My wife btw is immigrant and we also know people from Iraq and Algeria. They are good people who came to study here and are now working but even they don't want to live in areas or buildings where there are lot of other immigrants. Lot of immigrants also abuse their own people. For example people working in ethnic restaurants owned by fellow country men but avoiding laws and not paying legal salaries to employees. Too many immigrants and too fast causes problems.

Ok Besserwisser: You don't remember when an occasional gypsy in Finland joined your class in the elementary scool? She was hated and mobbed by everybody else and finally had to quit. Parents warned abt. gipsies do not go near, do not open doors,do not buy,do not support. They are thieves and sells bad horses,and used cars. But they were ok as singers! The same shit is now repeating itself. In Sweden,in Finland. Granted that Sweden failed totally in the beginning leaving all activities receiving refugees to private entreprenours making a lot of profit. An this is just continuing....the small men in the Swedish government following ...you know who.

Yes, it's certainly due to immigrants. But why does Stockholm have 30x more shootings per capita than London despite having less immigrants per capita? Policies also matter.

Both of the guests are non-european with ethnic interest to explain it all on the swedes. No really honest talk about the demography(30 minutes in, going to keep listening). Actually blaming the swedes about the foreigners not integrating. Disgusting. How many of the perpetrators of violent gang crimes are of non-european stock? Is it even possible to "integrate" such masses? How can we demand that european nations change their ways for absolute foreigners? Multi-racialism brings strife, misery and death upon the european nations. That should be reversed.

And when it comes to european kids joining the gangs - ofc some join when they see masculine ideals and a group. Does out western societies offer any masculine environments for our boys and young men? No! It might even be illegal and at least seen as suspicious. If you longhouse the nation, problems will rise. Also when the lady tells us that "majority of the foreigners are law-abiding" it is a tactic. The problem would not be here if it werent for mass migration. The overwhelming majority of the problem is foreign.

She even later on talked about the problem of no cohesive groups. This is the main reason for mental problems. And liberal west has tought us to hate our own nations and shame those that take pride in their nation.

Basically this. While it's good to hear opinions from different sides of the table, these people are obviously biased. People in journalism and academia (with immigrant background no less) will be partial towards immigration and multi-culturalism by default. No amount of contrary evidence will make them question their opinions. As such this is not a very fruitful discussion. She is advocating for "soft means", as in more social services, more social benefit, less segregation... but at this point it is abundantly clear to everyone that the days of soft means are over. They have not been working in any European country with problems of mass immigration. What Sweden (and Finland for that matter) needs to start doing is returning people back to their countries of origin. Criminals who cannot be returned must be put to prison with maximal sentences.

@@ModeratelyInsane Indeed. The resources we might've had for soft means are getting slimmer every year. And what do we even have to show for all that expended money? I can only imagine the crime, violence and the uproar when the free money ends. The people who came here for that will be furious. I agree. Repatriation is the future. I am sure a great amount of grief could be avoided.

Gang violence and (overly)rebellious youth can always be sourced to trauma, discontent or a critical mass of social wrongs done to people. Even if there's a proud streak that has them claim it's their decision and identity. At least it's that way across history.
