Mr Hodges is a intresting fellow to listen to in general. Not just the Ukraine -part. I hope all military personnel in leading positions have as good a portion of general knowledge and vision, as he has! That it comes with the (general)package😊. Thumbs up!

There are a LOT of 'us' out here-united and motivated, fund raising and united in a 'kind of a community'- with the pro-Ukrainian YT reporters like Jack Broe, Georgis of Ukraine Matters, Denys Davidov, Artur Rehi, Fellas of NAFO and quite a number of others who have united us (reasonably accidentally) We fund raise for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and so, are totally engaged in enthusiasm for Ukraine's victory- after all, Ukraine fights for ALL OF US. Its a great community. We also lobby our country's politicians to boost aid to Ukraine. I recommend folk to watch 'WINTER ON FIRE'- to understand why Ukraine needs our support.

I wish Ben Hodges had a larger role in our government than what he had in his illustrious military career. He should be an advisor to the President and the Joint Chiefs Of Staff. I agree with him that our present administration has been very conservative compared to what Ukraine needed and could have been given earlier in this conflict. Holding back cost lives.
Europe doesn't seem to have a lot of security interests, I think Russia could have ran through Europe. Europe needs Ukraine as a barrier more than Russia does .Tell me if Russia started on the European border they wouldn't control at least half of Europe right now.

But this weapons package might make the decisive difference and Churchill's words ring righter than ever: "The Americans will always do the right thing, after exhausting all other alternatives." And Ukraine bears a lot of responsibility too for their pre-war corruption. One thing that absolutely needs to change after the war, is that corruption needs to be punished as treason.

Putin over Biden ? Sorry, WTF? That represents the utter ignorance and misinformation in biased European Media. Gen. Hodges, has now made one statement with which I take exception. Trump has stated that he respects Putin and Xi, and that they are intelligent. IN THE CONTEXT that they have amassed nearly unheard of powers, enjoy significant majority support in their own countries and are able to manipulate others with ease and near impunity. All of the latter statement is true. Trump has NEVER said he likes the policies of Putin and XI and has in fact acted very harshly to both in many instances. The tariffs on China and the utter destruction of a portion of a wing of the Russian Military and Putin in Syria, the Wagner Group. Context Matters General, and you failed in this case to take it into account. That said, I dislike Trump, his ego, and do feel he should take better care with how he says such things, however this does not make the unintentional or intentional misconstruing of his statements acceptable. In your closing statement, your implied endorsement of Biden was unexpected and frankly unforgivable. We do have a democracy and we have at this time 2 choices, Biden or Trump. Biden has proven to cause instability, raise the risk of more wars and other problems including the very integrity of the US with unchecked illegal immigration and unchecked spending. General, for you to dismiss or ignore this is frankly astounding.

When you can show me another General, active duty or retired, that is as concise, articulate and intelligent; combined with the ability to unhesitatingly say I was wrong "I thought the Russians would do better, I overestimated them". Then have the same man be able to take new information and rapidly assess it, adjust to being wrong, reassess and still provide Strategic thoughts; rapidly, concisely and accurately. Politely disagree with policy without being overtly political. A General nearly universally respected by his troops, and I was one.... and on and on, SHOW me another General with these abilities and character traits, and I will see another General we need as Sec. Def or Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, running the Pentagon, or running for office. I will wait on it, I have lots of time. This mans retirement was a massive loss to the military, our country and frankly international security.

Americans need to realize that we are at war with Russia. It's not a shooting war, but it is a war none the less. Putin's Russia has been acting accordingly for some time through covert means to further divide our cultural and political differences through misinformation.

Syntyy jonkin asteinen näkemys eli ymmärrys kun ihmispolo palaa varjoksi. Pommit tappoivat 6. ja 9. elokuuta 1945 silmänräpäyksessä noin 150 000 siviiliä. Kaupungit maan tasalle. Jälkisairauksia vuosiksi. Eurooppaan on muutamaan valtioon tuotu ydinaseita Italiaan, Saksaan ja Hollantiin. Onko tämä uhkausta? Voimmeko olla huoletta kimpassa ydinasepuuhasteluyhteistyössä? Ottakaa huomioon, että yksi iso tulivuori tappaa enemän kuin kaikki ydinaseet. TOBA niminen tulivuori tappoi käytönössä kaikki ihmiset maapallolta. Muutama tuhat jäi jäljelle. Meteori-SATSI tekee saman. Chiclzulub meteori ja sisarkappaleet tappoivat liki kaikki dinosaurukset. Chickzulubin sisarkappaleita on jo löytynyt esi, Afrikan edustalta. Ja aseisiin niin toimiko UKRAINAN ydinaseiden poistaminen?

Hodges very witty and erudite - much insight into how this God-awful conflict could actually be brought to an end. i think Russia may very well lack staff officers of this calibre in positions of influence - high echelons too worried of being 'shown up' by younger/more experienced servicemen to promote genuine talent.
