An amazing performance by vidwan Kunnakudi Balmuralikrishna. The vidwan with his versatile vocals, rendered selected tyagaraja kritis with full of bhava & devotion. Starting with gowlipantu (tera tiiyaga rAdA by the saint, wherein he begs perumAL to remove the screens of envy etc to have His darshan) sArangA (emi dOva by the saint wherein he asks perumAL to show him the path) a moving mukhAri (muripemu galigE, where the saint praises peeumAL with a mild ridicule) a soulful varALi (Eti janamiti, a prahlAda bhakti vijayam kriti, where the saint laments not having perumAL darshan) a quick-paces vasantha (seethamma mAyamma where he says all bhAgavatAs are his kins) a mesmerising mohanam (nannu pAlimpa where the saint says in ecstasy how he sees perumAL) vanaspati (pariyAchakamA where the saint asks whether perumAL considers his pleadings to be not serious) & concluding with punnAga varALi (inta bhAgyamani where the saint states that those who serve perumAL are lucky) Wonderful✨ The violin supporr by vidwan venkatasubramanian was superb and the percussion support by vidwan sree sundarkumar (mridangam) and vidwan venkataramanan (ganjira) was brilliant 👍 Thanks to Gandharva for posting this live 🙏

Excellent concert
Super Concert, Sung with so very Much Bhava, Grace and Melody. !! Very Good Proficiency as well. !! Melodious Voice and rendering made the concert vert much Enjoyable. !! Very Good accompaniments. !! Wish them all the Best in their Musical Journey. !!

Excellent, exemplary concert. But why only Thyagaraja keerthanais. The title doesn’t say. Every concert should have a Tamil keerthanai after a lengthy alapana with neraval and swarams. Especially, youngsters should promote, otherwise the songs will be lost. Please do so,.
