I am typing this on a Corsair K95 with cherry browns. I am sorry; I have failed you all. In my defense this keyboard is >5 years old and still works great. I put some o-rings in yesterday and they feel a bit better. Also I just ordered a Durgod Hades 68 with PBT keycaps and gateron yellows thanks to the infectious mech keyboard scene on youtube.

haha we forgive you, I used my k70 for around 6/7 years before I moved on; they're not perfect keyboards but I still enjoyed using mine when I did, and I still think that it's one of the best looking boards out there. Heard good things about the hades! Durgod is a great brand and gateron yellows are really well made, would be nice to hear what you think about it after it arrives

@@Glarses Hey Glarses, I got my keyboard and I love it! The compiler is easy to use and very complete. I found this warm amber backlight color that compliments the room's wood floor and warm lights. The keyboard is very heavy and the aluminum case feels like it was CNC carved. I lubed the gateron yellows and they sound outstanding. These are my first linear switches, so I'm still learning to type fast on them, but they feel great. The right shift key does feel a bit short, so I sometimes press up arrow instead. The PBT keycaps that came with it feel very nice as well.

Cute because how common it is nowadays and how easy to get parts for them. We all know you ain't minimalistic unless you use an ortholinear 40% keyboard with infinity amount of layers XD

I love how this shows that there are so many other communities out there that most people have no idea about. I didn't even know the keyboard community existed until finding this channel

i think its more of the problem with the garbage stabs and rgb on the k70. i myself use a redragon with outemu browns but i'm getting a bm60 with kinetic labs penguins soon.

I thought his keyboard had brown switches, turns out it's just a Corsair k70. Phew

This was basically me when I bought a cheaper wireless board for the sake of more desk space (going from full size to 60%) with brown switches and really liking it, only to discover this channel and getting a bit into the keyboard scene a week later. Luckily the board is hot swappable so I'll probably try some "better" options down the line. I've only had blues and browns so I really don't know too much

after switching from my 2014 k65 with mx reds to a wooting two, which I've lubed, band aid modded and filled the case with foam, I have rediscovered what true smoothness is. And the glorious clack. It's so satisfying.

*I relate to this video on a level that is unearthly* like no one understands my obsession of mechs except the MK SubReddit.

Holy shid, this channel is actually really good, you could get a lot of people interested in keyboards, including me.

I have 2, K70's with red switches. I know it's not the best keyboard in the world but it's quite good actually. I had an SteelSeries 6gv2 with brown switches and it's a big step up in comparision.

I have K95 With cherry speeds for over 3 years now, love it. Especially when I'm making 3d models and use the board for macros.. Love the actuation distance while playing BR type games.. My friend has gmmk pro with banana split.. They're fine, but hyped a lot. My lubed cherry speeds(which took bit of time as they were all soldered) but that is worth it.

I got myself an rog falchion and youtube started recomending keyboard videos to me. I really like this keaboard but now see that I could have gotten so much better for the same price. Altough I am not that intrested in this hobby these videos are really fun to watch!

Literally on the corsair k70 red led keyboard right now haha. I just ordered my first upgrade off of mk but it wont be here until the end of July. The videos are great keep them coming. You should do one about custom cables

typing this on a k95 rgb platinum with speed switches. I like this keyboard. The only reason i went with a corsair board is because of iCue and integration with the rest of my pc. Macros and profiles are really good on corsair keyboards and those are things i use a lot on my keyboard so i like it. This video is the same reaction my cousin gave me.

I just looking for some keyboard reviews on youtube and this video show up on my recommendation, well done youtube

I actually remember a similar discussion like this 10 years ago or something when i got my first keyboard. CM Storm Quickfire cherry red, wich i actually used until this year and it was still going stong, stabs were aweful, keycaps look like oil but the switches itself are so smoothed out by now after 10 years, they are actually really nice to use. When i first got it back then, it war around the time those old ''gaming'' Logitech g15s were around aswell and a friend of mine who was super into competitive cs was praising this thing so hard and everytime i was at his place i was like: dude... this overpriced logitech thing with its gimmicky display noone uses anyways and its rubberdome keys feels SO bad to type on... didnt matter what i said, he stated that this logitech g15 is THE SHIT and like the best keyboard out there.

i got a razer huntsman tkl v2 for christmas, and im liking it right now. I do plan on building one, as my old keyboard was a custom painted, foam modded and keycapped k552 and it was really kinda eh. When i build one ima take a lot more time tho.

i'm using an cursed off- brand keyboard, but after a few days, it kinda mufels, but the spacebar is perfection

i almost fell for the k70 trap good thing i got saved in time
