How do you set the alarm and time on this device?

​@@rayrhodes2805 - either hit the ACL button or take the batteries out and put them back in again to reset the game. You can then use the main game controls to set the time (Luigi increments the hours, Mario the minutes). When you have the correct time set, press the time button to lock it in. You can then press the ALARM button and set the alarm by the same method.

I used to love this game as a kid. I would play with my Mom--each of us took one side. Once we got more than 900 points. The game gets REALLY fast and chaotic as you rack up points!

I got this off ebay a few years back. it's still a fun game

This was my very first gaming device -- the first of many. Thanks for the nostalgia.

According to the instructions, those are boxes of bottles. The Modern version in Game & Watch Gallery 3 uses cakes.

I had one of these as a young kid and it's totally passed my by until now that it was a Mario Bros. game. Wish I'd kept it for the nostalgia value now.

My cousin had this game! It was stolen from the Gallery in Philadelphia back in 1983 🤷‍♀️🤫. He let us play with it and I loved it. Good times, good times!

My First videogame. I love it

My sister got one at about '83. And there was always 'squabbling' about it, because my brother and I (at least me) also wanted to play it.... after a while our father ended up converting the game to our TI99/4a. Loved it. He called it "Die 2 Heinis und ihr Chef" (or in english 'The two dudes and their boss') :D Would love to see an ancient screenshot of it.... ;)

@@mostlyfinnishlifeeventsand5112 Sadly no. We only had it on tape. At this time my father sent the game and a tax-calculation-program to a ti99-magazine but only the tax software was printed. But I found a copy of the letter he wrote(on typewriter) to the mag. 🤩 But still have TI99,ZX81 and C64 hardware. And the Game&Watch original as well. Played it two weeks ago🤩

oh yeah, i have exactly this one. my dead aunt i never saw got this from my grandparents back in 80s. this seems to be very underrated

This is the only one I had. My parents weren't the biggest Proponents of video games and I remember this being expensive at the time for them to spend on a video game. I vaguely remember them buying this at Toys "R" Us.

I've been trying to find what this is called for sooo long. I enjoyed playing this game when I was a kid and it reminds me so much of my childhood. I remember I got really sad when it broke (i even had to put tapes on the battery compartment just so i could try to play it again lol) Hope I could find something like this again. I'd want to buy.

I forgot about this one. I have the orange Donkey Kong and a few of my friends had other G&W games in the early/mid 80s, I remember playing this one. Going to keep an eye on Ebay and may be get this game. My interest in these games started again when the brand new 40th anniversary Mario Bros game & watch was announced, I'm getting one of those come through very soon.

I have this game. It is fun. What a clever way to play a game. Very different from games now.

I had one of these from my childhood. I got one off eBay and I don’t know why but it’s very addicting even though it’s just a simple game.

I had this as a kid... my mom took it away at some point but it never appeared again... I’m over 30 now and wonder if she didn’t throw it away... I tell you now it breaks my heart to think about...

@Daood Zafar Cakes were mentioned incorrectly in the video at around 0:48 and the plumbers made cakes in the G&W Gallery series so it might cause some confusion

Though simple, it does look fun.

My dad has this and me and my brother play it (We always have thought it's a 2 player game)

I can't believe they still exist.

I used to play this obsessively and got good at it. I used to think this was revolutionary, like how the same box keeps moving up and becomes full before getting chucked into the truck. That attention to detail was amazing, or so I thought. Laughable now.

My top score 1016A and 945B. I still have this game, last played over 30 years ago

Every time Mario misses the cake, he gets yelled at by the manager in this game, I don't know what miss animation modern version uses, but the judge is Bowser in the modern version of this game.

Okay so, I know I'm four years late, but if a cake falls in modern, the bros just look disappointed. One second later, all the cakes get reset and everything's back to normal.

We had 3 of these. This one.. a yellow one I can't remember what the game on that one was... And donkey Kong barrel game.

That game kind of looks hard in my opinion. I haven't played the game and watch before.

Those are actually bottles, not cakes. The cakes came from the modern versions seen in the "Game & Watch Gallery" series.
