Charles being a giant spider that is using a train as a shell also makes sense from a biological standpoint. Some other invertebrae use larger objects as protective shells to protect themselves from predators, most notably hermit crabs. Charles just took this concept, but upgraded to a steel shell.

Honestly, having Dan narrate is apreciable. It's a change of pace, it's refreshing. It would be nice to see him voice a video every now and then. (not that I want Mat's voice to hurt more often mind you.)

Even before seeing this it was my personal theory that Charles was a spider using the train as a protective shell, and honestly it's such a cool concept for a terrifying train monster.

To anyone who’s wondering, 2 Star confirmed in a community post that Charles was originally yellow, like the other trains, but became red because his red paint isn’t paint, it’s the blood of his victims.

Okay, when I heard the pun about the song “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osborn, I almost cried! That song is probably one of the most nostalgic songs from my childhood! Going off the rails on a Crazy Train!!!!

This theory really shows how the antagonist of a story isn't always the villain. Even though Warren is at direct odds against the goals of the player, he's not a malicious person who wants others to suffer. He's trying to protect everyone from the actual villain, Charles.

This actually supports what I was hoping to see in a possible sequel, we see many eggs in the cavern so imagine something based on boats, but there are 3 Charles, one is in the ocean in a submarine, one is on the surface being a boat, and one being a plane patrolling the air. You can even make it a really rainy thing so you can't see anything

I honestly hope that Head Editor Man can get to voice a few more episodes himself. Specifically ones filled with puns that he has no idea about. Was funny to hear him wonder about Matt's sanity

I love this. This being the Head Editor Dan taking over the voice over. I love the idea of Theorists going the way of SciShow and getting a rotating group of VO. I don't know who else they could use, but Dan is great at it.

I've been following Game Theory since, well since Game Theory. I love Matt and I love his theories and I love the team, and I gotta say; head editor Dan hit it out of the freaking park and I want more of it

Dan really makes me appreciate how much effort Matpat puts into the personality he presents, and that isn't me saying Dan was bad or anything- just that this change of pace gave me a new perspective on Matpat
