Ignoring the bot that responded to you, you're right! The tent of telepathy symbol is just called a pentacle! They're only pentagrams when upside down, and they're usually inside a circle as well. This particular theory is so special to me, both because it reminds me of the lore theories that I first watched in the ye olden days but even more because the first theory I ever saw from the TCU (theorists cinematic universe) is the "bill is still alive in stans head" in this channel so it is a really good send-off from matpats time on the channel for me.

I was so amazed and surprised when Matpat mentioned all those shows! All of those shows he mentioned on the Bill zodiac circle, where shows that I LOVED (except inside job and the pirate one)!!!!

I’ve been waiting for so long for another Gravity Falls theory and this one did not disappoint! 😍

My daughter and I bonded with Gravity Falls as our first Daddy-Daughter show when she was 2 and have reached the entire series repeatedly over the years. We actually just finished a rewatch last week because I heard the announcement for Book of Bill. This show is a modern classic

By the way thank you so much for making the second to last one about my all time favorite show I started it when I was 9 and I still obsess about it now. he broke my recommendations tab in the 2010s with his kooky theories. now he's covering one of my favorite cartoons for this last theory.

I'm happy because matpat is back with his classical unvelievable theories(but its also sad he had to wait to the end)😢

I have never gotten more goose bumps the more you broke down that the cipher corresponds to Hirsch's creative works, this has made me so excited!

This is what alex had to say about not using the zodiac: "because When that image was first created at the very beginning of the series, it was basically just a, “Here’s a neat symbol that connects our characters.” We knew much about the end of the show from the beginning. We knew Stan’s secret [and] who wrote the journals. We had a hunch about the situations that would play out in the grand finale, but the exact significance of that, and whether it would even appear in the show, is something that was originally not something we had invented yet. As we were getting closer to the conclusion, it seemed fitting that Bill’s mysterious Zodiac would play a part in the finale. Ultimately, the show is about characters and their choices. If our characters were to simply hold hands and Care Bear stare Bill to death, that wouldn’t mean a whole lot. It wouldn’t represent any real personal growth or conflict in our main character’s personality. We thought it would be fitting for there to be a moment related to that sense of prophecy, [but] ultimately we wanted this to come down to that decision of [Ford] potentially sacrificing everything he knows on Stan’s part and the chance for Ford to see Stan’s nobleness in action and regret thinking of his brother as selfish."

I absolutely loved Gravity falls when I was younger, I remember curling up on the couch and just watching it on our old cable box that would randomly stop working all the time. This was a complete gem of a show and I was sad to see it go.

2weeks ago I started gravity falls and I just finished today … just trying to enjoy Matpat’s final theories ….. thanks man for everything

this feels so special. this gave me such a nostalgic feeling of watching countless KZreadrs talking about the mysteries of Gravity Falls. i felt like a kid again. thank you, Matthew. for everything.

Ok I gotta say it. This part 2 to the bill cipher theory was perfect. I remember back after I watched the finale I was obsessed with bill cipher. I started making so many drawings of him with eye bats, and the floating pyramid with the giant x right above it. Something about drawing an evil yellow triangle with a funny personality just made me love him more. (I’m 50% sure I wasn’t an evil kid who wanted to see his enemies burn probably)anyways I thought that was the end of the lore for him but I refused to believe it. I still had so many questions about him. So I looked him up on google countless times mainly cause he had so much fan art. then I came across your channel on KZread that was all about him. That was the first video ever watched and I enjoyed every second of it. Looking back on it everything’s come full circle with this part 2. Watching this I felt like I was 10 years old again. I wish you had time to cover that book of bill but I wanna say thank you for giving me not only a fun and intriguing video that gave me answers to what I wanted but for inspiring me to investigate movies and tv shows to find the deeper dirt that could be hidden.

Finished season 1, and I’m hooked. Love the show so far, some adult humor and kid humor combined in an all and all amazing series.

Can't believe it's been 8 years since i got to be a kid and watch that show, now I'm going to college getting serious problems ahead

Plot twist: The cipher zodiac actually ends up reviving Bill because he lied about its meaning, and thus, the final project for Alex will be a sequel to Gravity Falls in which Bill Cipher comes back from oblivion.... but that's just a theory, a FILM THEORY! (Hopefully, in Prime Video because Disney is becoming too greedy and lazy with their franchises.)

18:30 hey Matpad u probably know this but i wanted to tell you did u know that in the first episode of Amphibia we see a book having Cipher in it but more crazy we see the name "Pines" could that be Dipper after the journey in Gravity Falls?

Alex also worked on a Disney show called Milo Murphy’s law which would fit the llama section perfectly. There is a backstory called the “llama incident”. He voiced Mort, one of the school’s students. Hope this helps!

Me and my cousin spend one week every summer binging Gravity Falls. It is by far my favorite show and I’m so happy MatPat got to do another theory about it😊
