I couldn’t feel much emotion and I had thoughts of revenge and the other things. But God saved me, he gave me the people in my life and he showed himself to me. One of the reasons I got so into the theory channels is because MatPat's voice was just so good for background noise for my adhd brain. I was slightly worried the new hosts wouldn't match the same vibe for me, but so far, Lee and Tom have been awesome! MatPat made some great choices, and we're so lucky to have you guys as our new hosts

Viewing it from another angle, the masters' gatekeeping could be a way to test the student's capability of handling disappointment. I’d disagree with that idea. If you watched the origins of the furious five stories and the story of the three masters - Oogway was never very similar to the Jedi at all. Especially for what he foresaw in Po during the first film. Po wasn’t treated the same way Anakin was. It’s even confirmed in the third film when Po reunited with him in the spirit realm. “A way to unite the past and the present- to begin anew”. Even foreshadowed when he talked to Po at the Peach tree.

lee could not have been a better fit! his voice is naturally soothing and he has the knowledge, the experience and the charisma! absolutely love it! i was super worried the new hosts would be degraded as they’re stepping into a huge role that’s packed with nostalgia but showing yourself as being part of that nostalgia that we all loved is the best way to own this! love it! 🤍

The quote was cut short. It is actually "Noodles? Don't Noodles" Meaning it's more of a "who knows what the correct choice is, or even if there is one" lesson. Cutting it short to make it sound like gibberish was very disingenuos.

But this doesen´t justify his first solo entry to be a aggalamation of misconstructions of what happens, or blatant lies (like the manipulative cut when Po speaks about the hoplesness of training the panda childs, and Oogway responds with pointing out Po`s hypocricy, THE EXACT same argument Lee then proceeds to make. but cuts out deliberately to manipulate).

Love the video. Definately familiar but different in a great way.

can we all give this man a round of applause? Though he has Matpat's shoes to fill he's taking on the role so well. I welcome the new age of the theory channel and wish Matpat and his family many years of joy. looking forward to see the growth of the new voice of these channels.

That scene at 1:30 is perfect symbolism of MatPat leaving the theorist host duties to his successors.

As soon as I heard the voice, my brain started to malfunction with so much resistance to change. I liked what you did there by providing your background; it just eased my brain into giving a chance.

Honestly, Lee seems like a very good host for film theory 👍

Hey, Lee, it was very nice to join you on your first time hosting Film Theory today! As I already said to Tom, and as I'm sure I'll reiterate to Amy and Santi later this week, it'll be odd for awhile as we adjust to MatPat no longer being around, but I've quite enjoyed your first theory, and look forward to joining you for many more on the future.

Hey just wanted to say that on a personal note to Lee, your absolutely smashing it with your first official film theory episode. Matpat’s left some pretty big shoes to fill and I think what your doing is amazing! Mat should be very proud of who he’s chosen. I can’t wait to see what’s next and what you bring to the channel, I’m sure the next generation of younger theorists will be very lucky to have you as the next big iconic voice to their childhoods!
