Sin 45 isn't a loading screen. It's coz you walked through the wrong checkpoint. If you walk through the aug checkpoint then you don't have to go through with the mini scene of them checking your papers

And it is sin 45 mate. As it goes from 44 to 45. The first sin makes it go from 0 to 1. The sin of "Why does the police speak both Czech and English" can be easily explained. You see, there are people that understand the language when they hear it but cannot properly speak it himself. So it's possible, that the English speaking cop understood Czech well and the Czech cop understood English well - they just didn't want to attempt to speak in a broken form of one another's language and rather used the one that they know the other one understands. Also, Czech Republic is Central Europe, it's directly above Austria - and you don't call Austria Eastern Europe, now do you?

The cold war is still in our heads, so many people refer to the ex Warszaw Pact states as Eastern Europe, even if they are central, like Poland or Czech Republic. Happens to me too, although I should know better as a German.

A HUGE sin for this game was forcing us to choose between save Satanek's daughter (the bombmaker) or invade PAlisade bank to collect data it was such an incovenient coincidence those events were happening at the same time.

yutro213 haahaaa when i first played this game over a year ago, there was a glitch that allowed you to do both missions giving you trophies for both. That glitch was patched a couple months back i believe.

Still wouldn’t explain why they were getting a briefing on the VTOL. Even when assembling a unit at the last minute, they would still get a briefing before the VTOL took off.

You missed a big one. Every single person in czech republic speaking with thick russian accent. Also really funny and stupidly messed up translations of signs. Obviously used google translate. How bad were the budget cuts they they couldn't afford to pay 50 USD to any Czech english lit student to check those up?

Actually, there was a lot of paid Czech voice actors that were voicing some of the NPCs, which is even more sinful, because Square Enix could've easily asked *them* to do the translating for them.

Fun fact, that's not a loading gate. You only get stopped if you walk through the "Humans Only" gate. They don't stop you if you use the "Augs" gate.

The black suit, pitched shifted voice and constantly changing face is actually a "A Scanner Darkly"(Philip K Dick novel) reference.

Dartigan, how can u not figure out that the "papers please" stuff is NOT a loading screen, yet you spot that Delara was next to Adam on the train?!

You know my primary issue with this game is how short it is, the game ends as the story kicks up and gets good

Task Force 21? I played this game and never see any Task Force 21... only Task Force 29...

am i the only one that was getting the feeling he didnt really remember much of his playthrough especially with how many times he calls it Task for 21 instead of 29 even though its on just about every wall in their building. Or how they spelt ARC with a K instead of a C wich doesnt make sense since its an acronym?

I've played through the game twice, and have felt no need to buy anything. You find everything you need in the game. Only a moron would pay real money for anything offered via "micro transactions", yet all I ever see are people bitching about it.

+1 sin - How did Manderley acquire such high position (Director of Task Force 29)? He couldn't have been receiving orders from Bob Page and he started to work behind the desk in 2052 - when he was assigned by Walton Simons as a director of UNATCO. He did help Interpol to shut down Knights Templar in Europe, but he was on field duty. +1 sin - Bob Page's plan doesn't make sense: he wants to enforce HRA and for what? Free control of the augs? In 2052, mechanically augmented "older models" do not cause much of a deal and only work for military organizations. They have a killphrase and that is it. This HRA completely eliminates the need to research for nanoaugmentations and create nanovirus. I still do not understand the existence of Eliza Cassan. If she was created by Morgan Everett, then why did he decide to work on Morpheus and later - Daedalus if all he needed to do was to start creating a prototype of Aquinas Protocol, direct the flow of information through this router and use Eliza as an ultimate information censor. Therefore he wouldn't need to make a new surveillance system. But if we excuse this as a lazy writing then another problem surfaces - Where in the world is Eliza Cassan? She cannot be an Oracle, since Oracle is an amalgamation of an internet information flocks. Was she hunted down by Icarus? Maybe, but Daedalus would have easier access to Cassan, since Daedalus escaped to internet. Or did Icarus actually acquired full access to her systems? We would never know, because Eliza Cassan is a retcon.

In seven minutes and I've already stopped counting the sins that were false. Like the checkpoints being for loading. You can walk around all of them, except one that is part of a sidequests.

For giggles I've used the two most prevalent "cool" landing techniques in video games. One is the one seen in this game as you showed in Dubai (knee forward) and the WORST usually seem in anime: landing while doing the splits, one arm down. I tried them from the bottom step on a staircase. If you actually land from even a low height using either landings, YOU ARE FUCKED. You WILL destroy a knee or wreck the ligaments in your crotch. I hate the "stylish" landing trope.

Adam Jensen has a cybernetic implant specifically to allow those landings, that´s why he can do them without harm. AND thats why in the scene at 8:52, he couldn´t jump from the plane, as this specific aug was damaged with all the others and you have to reactivate it with your XP, so in this prerendered cutscene it might be that you don´t have it unlocked. What a trash video this is.

Cutting the game short. Add 100000000000000 sins. Also, "DXMD is better than DXHR in every way", seriously? That deserves a triple amount of sins for this channel.

6:40 I maybe wrong, but I kinda remember that cops at the station will leave you alone if you just take the aug gate instead of the non aug gate.

This video is terrible. I played the game and only about half of the sins are valid criticisms.

The horrible lipsync is way way way more sinful than anything else in this video, can't accept that, in 2016 in a game where cutescenes and storytellling is so prominent, it's too much annoying.

I actually had to look up how to use the CASIE system because it's not at all explained in the game. I still find it funny though that I was able to bullshit my way through the Rucker conversation and get him to agree to come in peacefully.

It's useful for getting extra XP

If you choose going to bank over saving Alisson you get a whole section of the plot. And you missed a whole bunch of plot with Samizdat and a few other side quests that affect the main plot. Also you can find Marchenko's kill switch in the room near dying Miller and avoid the boss fight entirely. You should do an extra sins video for it, you covered a little over half. of the game :)

Chicane being an Illuminati plant is revealed via a series of veeeery optional laptops and pocket secretaries, but it reframes the whole plot once you know it. Alisson and bank though are very specifically both main story. You’re given a choice and you *have to* do either one. You get different payoffs and information, but they both lead you to GARM. Bank path is objectively superior, although there’s an out of bounds glitch that allows you to do both.

You know what's funny? You don't get stopped for papers very much if you stuck to the Aug side Edit, somebody else already pointed it out

6:38 That is NOT a loading screen, that is just an atmospheric touch. If you actually look at the signs you would see that there is a hallway for non augmented people and one for Augmentin people which is behind a fence with barbed wire and guns pointed at it. If you walk the Aug way you will not have to get stopped. I am surprised by the amount of KZreadrs that never noticed this.

Sin 88 seems unusual, I remember people being there and only disappearing after you convince Stanek to give herself up.

What editing software do you use? It's a cool change getting the "Everything" to match up with the "Deus Ex" font, as opposed to the original, generic, white lettering.

The guards asking for your papers isn't a loading screen. Each time is actually avoidable provided you take the Aug lines and not the human lines.

Considering the nature of the conspiracies in the game, I don't see why sending TF29 and the other Illuminati agents to the same location to fight would seem far-fetched. Maybe the goal is to improve the image of TF29 and further destroy the image of the augs, so why not just engineer your own conflicts and strawmen? Then again, I'm probably giving too much credit to the same devs that thought "mechanical apartheid" would be a good idea.

i think the best part is that when the augment malfunctions are shown when he wakes u, one of the augments is called 'punch through wall' that's not really a special augmentation

The give me your papers part is actually not a loading screen if u go through the aug section u don't get stopped

7:46 She has a point. I'm Canadian and don't know much about Canadian history, talk about American history because we have the option to choose between history and geography in high school and back then I found history boring because everyone else said it was boring.

I'm 50 sins to your channel for making it painfully obvious that you did not pay attention to anything in this game, including names of TF29, and the fact that you seem to somehow not appreciate the "rule of cool" as it applies to a video game for the superhero landing (he's also equipped with the Icarus landing system, hence why he can land in such a way, as it absorbs the shock of landing and slows descent), and that they literally mention Dubai is basically a rat and sand-infested shithole after the Aug incident happened, thus why nobody noticed the BEEs flying in, nor do you seem to have heard that they went into "silent running" mode when they were closing on the compound. BIG details, broski.

The sin for building a shut down switch on a bomb comes up a lot but it makes sense. Even if you are dedicated to your cause a need for a kill switch would still exist, circumstances outside your control could interfere with your bombing plan.

Really big sin: If you go get the calibrator before seeing Koller, he *can't* install it until later in the game anyway, making the trophy for it utterly pointless.

Sin 83 is probably incorrect, Adam was Stanek's customer way before the game, so its plausable Stanek got his contact info from Adam himself

You got 110 sins but missed the biggest one, yourself for not knowing that Task Force was 29 not 21 and you played the game the whole way though (allegedly)

Czech is actually not quite a Slavic language neither are the Czechs. They don't fit the typical Slavic stereotype and their accent is different.

Sin number 1 is ridiculous. It's called "recap" and not "explaining the plot of the last game to those who didn't understand". Complicated or not, it's been a big while since most of the players played deus ex human revolution. It's easier to R E C A P than to play the whole game again. I myself remembered many details I had already forgotten

The two groups being sent to fight each other in Dubai, makes almost as much sense as Mr and Mrs Smith. I love that movie but ultimately they probably work for the same assassins agency. It's just that one of them is voiced by Keith David and the other's voice by some older woman who kind of sounds like Helen Mirren. Instead of trying to murder both of the agents they could have tried to poach them for the other team. Especially considering that they were married.

In regards to the Pillar for uploading to the Machine God, it's filled or empty based off of dialogue choices iirc

Sin 83 is by far one of the most egregious of the game because it made no sense not to at least attempt to release that recording to the public to not only incriminate Bob Page, but clear ARC of any wrong doing. I mean, that's what they did in System Rift with the Palisade Plaza, so why not here? It really is a major plot hole the more I look at it. Yea I know what some would argue, "But that would hurt the timeline because Bob Page has to succeed in his plans for DX1 to take place!" While that is true, that doesn't change the fact there should at least been an attempt to release the footage to the public. They could come up with an excuse like say... a cutscene of Adam getting ambushed before he uploads it and it gets destroyed and erased, thus no longer able to use it. While no means perfect, it would at least be more believable reason for why the footage cannot be used other than the flimsy excuse it's "illegal evidence". Just because it's illegal evidence doesn't make it all of a sudden worthless.

Sin 82 was in reference to the blur suit in Philip K. Dick's story A Scanner Darkly.

I recently came up with an idea for a cyberpunk style game, but even if I could use this idea I'm afraid that it would look like a combination of this game, watch_dogs legion and far cry. My idea for a police squad in that game looks similar to taskforce 21. If you need proof, I called it "Ascension 6". That name might have already been used.

Having a conversation in 2 different languages isn't that weird. I'm Canadian, and I've had full conversations in English with people speaking French before, although it's more common for them to switch to English.

Animations on this game make characters look like most of them suffer from both partial paralysis and seizures
