I think the only way you'd see some of them team up is sansa, margaery and the sand snakes. The others wanted absolute power, despite their intentions. Arya with no interest in government. Perhaps in a minor role. I personally feel the 7 kingdoms and essos united and ruled in a valaryian or roman empire style union with a council and elected leader who has to rely on majority vote from council would be the best system. But westeros was centuries away from that yet. Arya, Oberyn, Sansa, Yara, Loras, Ser Davos, Tyrion, Elaria Sand, Dahrio, Sam, Jamie, Margaery, Varys, Gendry. That's a council of Lords who could have ruled. Robb, Danny, Cersei, Jon and Tywin just couldn't due to extreme views on power and force. Or a lack of political ability.

George RR Martin writes female characters surprisingly well. He knows how a medieval setting would treat them and how their reactions would be. They all fought to get somewhere, it wasn’t handed to them through pity. And they each have their own character

Honestly more people need to acknowledge sansa's strength. She might not be the strongest physically but she has suffered a lot and she survived all of it. People think she is some weak character but honestly it takes real strength to survive what she survived.

I think that’s why I love this show because even though I don’t always like them, they are strong and have different journeys. They face real issues that women have faced even if it’s set in a fantasy world or, historical settings with royalty. Each women character will remind you of someone or even yourself and strengths that you can also adapt from them.

Such powerful women, yet the person who ends up with the most powerful position is a young boy with little to no emotions left who didn't even WANT the throne and contributed little in the end of the series....🙄 The writing (not actors) was very poor this season. If Bran was meant to be king all along, we deserved better (because of the years, time and money spent) than a rushed ending.

any of these powerful women would've ruled the iron throne with weaknesses. bran has no weaknesses, he doesn't WANT anything. he has no emotional connections to anyone anymore which makes the best suitor for the throne. rulers who have emotion and weakness due to family or friends will not be a good leader to westeros when being controlled by those emotions and weaknesses. bran took the throne because everyone agreed that it was safest in his hands, and westeros will be the most safe in the hands of "a little boy with little to no emotion" yes, i'd definitely live in a world where the leader didn't have weaknesses or people that will control how they lead. all men have weaknesses, all women have weaknesses, bran does not have weakness or emotion that other people can manipulate. wee you even watching the show..

I personally would not have cared about any other characters that had disabilities wanting to be ruler; I am calling out the writers for their very poor writing. I pointed out his physical disability because it bothered me how in the entire series, all forms of deformity or disability was mocked, disregarded, and labeled a weakness of some sort, yet at the the end, no one questioned or challenged Bran being King. It was written almost like a "easy fix", that everyone was suddenly cool with the idea that Bran would be their king. There was no natural transition. I understand this is a fictional/fantasy story, but the very characters in the series itself nearly imploded when Jon Snow, Cersei, Little Finger (and many more) indicated desire or potential to being a leader. Personally, it just bothers me that Bran has no genuine connection to the throne. It's bittersweet and I would respect it if it wasn't obvious that the writers weren't rushing it and coping out. Tldr; the story deserved better than the writing we were given.

@Kyel ! Most people who hated this season aren't even attacking GRRM, because it's pretty obvious that even though the ending is the same he'll do a better job of actually building up to it. I can't believe I'm still having this argument over a year after this show ended. It's not our fault he hasn't published the new book yet, he's had nearly ten years to do that now, way before the finale of the show. The last season was sloppy and rushed. They decided to only do six episodes, which hurt them in the end and that IS D&D's fault. I remember reading that the CEO of HBO (or someone important I can't remember who now) wanted them to do another season, but they decided against it because they were supposed to write the next Star Wars Movies. You can whine and defend them all you want, but the show is over. If GRRM decides not to publish the last book, it'll probably be because he gave up on it a long time ago and showed that by handing over the ending to the show writers. Not because the fans hated the TV show's finale.

Those ungrateful bitches wouldn't have survived the long night without her help Arya herself admitted that even though she killed the Night King. I hated season 8 because of how they did these characters. In the end I didn't like the Starks or any other character. I hated Tyrion and Varys as well it's like they forgot that they were in the crypts during the long night because they wouldn't be useful on the battlefield ( Sansa said to Tyrion that they were down there because none of them could do anything) but then they all treated her like shit and talked behind her back.

Arya STARK, the STARKS, were the ones who saved the world against the night walker! Daneary didn't really help, and, after that, she genocided a whole city of poor people without remorse just to get a fucking crown, and then she intended to re-do the same thing over and over. She was toxic since the start. She did have a good ideology, but her thrust of power and her selfishness and egocentric nature wasn't helping. The girls were not ungrateful, they were not fools. And if you weren't a stupid desesperate fan, you'd see the logic behind their thinkings. You're saying you don't like the STARKS and blah blah blah, but they are the ones who made the show. Stfu.

Sydni Taylor if dany hadn't showed up to help the north then all of the starks and kings landing would've died plus anyone else in westeros that didn't have an island. the only people left would be people who were lucky to be on islands when the wight's attacked like the greyjoy's and everything. so basically you wanted an ending where dany was hiding on her home island with tyrion, jorah, and varys and once everyone in westeros was dead she ruled.. who? and where did she rule them because the iron throne was now in a castle full of wight walkers? idk if george's ending will be different but there's a lot more contenders for the throne in the book. the show writers used your emotions to fall in love with dany so you would be blinded to who she really was. and i hate to break it to you but jon snow aka aegon targaeryan had the RIGHT to the iron throne. every right that dany was claiming was hers, was his. and when she found out, she tried to make him hide the knowledge. that right there tells you she only wants the iron throne because she thinks it's something she deserves at this point, she doesn't care about westeros or else she would've stepped back and supported aegon. if the people in westeros were important to her, she wouldn't have continued a claim to the throne that was a lie. if the people in westeros were important to her, she wouldn't have burned kings landing down. i loved dany, just like you, and most of the people in the show did. but to blindly follow a character without acknowledging her faults and trying to understand what really happened and why it had to happened, that's just ignorance

GOT has some of the most powerful, inspiring, and complex female characters I've ever seen on TV.

In the beginning Sansa seemed to be a person to least survive the game, in the end she's it biggest winner

Daernery's character: with her brother a target of assassins from the childhood , abused by brother, sold to inhumane people, raped, mother of a murdered child, gaining confidence day by day and talking back for herself. After that, she started fighting for those who were going through the same. It didn't matter to her wether those people were her own or just some "outsider". She started punishing and revenging those who behaved inhumanely to the weaker ones. Decided to rule the city first which she just conquered and caused problems so that she could solve the problems she caused. Named her enemy her Hand and began to fight against those who took her everything away from her. People first didn't fear her but they feared her unborn SON. She as a female proved that she alone is enough to be dealt with. No strong husband, No SON but she herself. Her father brought dirt to her name and she began her journey to clear the name again which is expected only by a male heir of the family. Honestly, hands down to GRRM! From my childhood this story is the first ever, where a WOMAN alone mattered (in a way that enemies had to fear the character and not someone next to her). Every woman and man had their own journey in GOT. And he also didn't try to give all the spotlight to the women only, he didn't show them the nicest people ever. Daenerys had her evil and heroic sad bc of her genes. She had to fight her dark side before making a decision. But Cersei for example, we have been shown her good and bad side. Caetlyn as well. These women were shown very wise and pure when it came to their own families but handled situations very differently when someone wasn't related to them. You need hard work and real view of the world to build a character. It is shown that often people don't simply become evil bc they have wanted to become evil. The people around threm pushes them to edges to make certain decisions. The consequences have to be be borne only by themselves bc the people around them never realized their mistakes.

Osha is so underrated 😢 (spoilers) I loved her but nobody talk of her as a strong lady yet she was! She protected Rickon and Bran and died for it. Same for Ygritte. She was Jon’s first love. She was strong, and her « you know nothing, Jon Snow », had me sparkling every time she said that. Such an emotional moment when she said it while shooting at him. Those are underrated strong women. Yara is too! She is so cool and when Theon was gave up by everyone, she was the only one trying to save him. I love those three ❤️

Sansa and khaleesi are my top two main characters and lady olenna and lady morment are my fave minor characters for sure 💕 so happy there is a show that has really well written female characters! Also the fact that every woman on this show has either been sexually assaulted or threatened with it is important too, - a reminder that this is the reality of the female experience throughout history and that it is not a signifier of an end, that one can rise up stronger than ever (Sansa and Khaleesi ayyo). So so so important!!!

Absolutely True. I just love these 2 character they survived a lot and yet came out stronger Just love them😍😍👏👏👏👌👌👌

George RR Martin have written the female charters incredibly well, their setting is amazing, the rage and revenge is portrayed amazing.

What I like about the GOT Women it shows different kind of Strong Women. Just so many layers, and just badass.

It's ironic Cause none of them survived Except Sansa and Arya

This montage if absolutely perfect, i loved every bit of it. Such an armonic job, perfectly syncronizing with the music below. The only graphic transaction I would have done differently is at 1:06 so that Sansa has the same "explose bubble effect" like Daenerys and Cercei before her. This video is so brilliant.

This may sound weird but I was going to my first major audition for a popular drama and on the way there I was watching this to make me feel inspired and empowered and amazingly I got the part so thank you.

This. This did not need to go as hard as it did. Amazing. I love the different types of strength you highlighted. You have Arya and Brienne, with their fighting, Dany and Cersei, with their power and determination. Sansa and Missandei, with their survival, their ability to cope with atrocities and come out the other side.

This is the most powerful video to me. If I ever feel low, this music is the only power to get my true self back. Bringing back my Faith in Myself

This is by far the best GoT AMV I have ever seen. I watch it everytime I feel weak, or feel like giving up. I couldn't have thought of a better way for the women on this show to be represented; with such power and such inspiration. Keep up the amazing work!

But I Learn." ~ Sansa stark Arya Stark , hero of winterfell , the best character in living memory 💜 " Fear cuts deeper than sword " ~Arya Stark And how can we forget Bran the broken , the one who even can't work but learned to fly . “How do you know there is an afterwards?” ~Bran Stark Tyrion Lannister , lover of trial by combat , he drinks wine and he know things , the backbone of the show , his mind is not less than a dragon 🐉 “Never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you.” ~Tyrion Lannister Robb stark , the young wolf , the king in the north , the character resembles his father Ned stark , it's sad how Robb stark the only capable heir of Ned stark will be forgotten in Westeros's history. The audio is so perfectly mixed with the music, I just want to play it on repeat on my playlist. You create such a vivid story with your edit and I always find myself thinking back to this video

I loved when Catelyn Stark met Brienne because I think she thought that Brienne was so much like Arya and she trusted her like a mother would trust her daughter
