In my opinion, she's not totally unjustified. That poor girl had been through a lot. She had been banished as a child. She was basically brainwashed her entire life to believing that the throne was her destiny, all because that's what her brother used to say - until her husband executed him. Her husband and baby taken from her. Her closet advisor and oldest friend, her best friend executed right in front of her, her advisors slowly turning against her once they discover Jon has a stronger claim. Falling in love with her nephew who has a stronger claim to the throne. Losing not one but two dragons right in front of her eyes. Who can blame her for going a little mad?

I mean everything what cersei did was because she wanted to keep her children save and after they died she wanted to keep what was left. The crown and kings landing. Cersei was one of the only people who really know how to play the game of thrones, not even daenerys could it.

"A Targaryen... alone in the world, is a terrible thing" I always thought this quote just applied to her at the beginning of her story, when I realised, it applies to her end. she lost everything--- her army, her closest friends, two of her dragons, she was pretty much alone at that point to the point where she flipped.

Yes, she was alone at the end, completely. Neither Tyrion nor Jon could have been called "friend" or "family" or what ever... Grey Worms drowned in his anger and finally she did the same... I'm quite sure that it could have been otherwise if Jon didn't leave her in her despair (even if i totally understand why he did)

During the battle with the death, Ceresei decided not to fulfill the given promise, instead, she was preparing for the Throne battle. What would you do? And what would you do if you were a dragon? Burn them all down!

To be fair with Sansa she been through A LOT of shit too. She learned the hard way to not trust people no matter how friendly they acted. By that point she only cared and trusted the only ones who didn't stab her in the back, the North.

"Most powerfull and ruler" Someone has never read the books. Daenerys is nothing compared to the earlier Targaryen monarchs. Aegon was the enigmatic lord, the first king. Jahaerys the first is known to have been the king who took the 7 kingdoms and made them one, Viserys the firsts rule was a golden age in the beginning, even if it did end in travesty after his death. Daeron conquered with men, when she couldn't with 3 dragons plus men. Cleanse? Cleanse?! What in gods name did she cleanse?! You're telling me the only way to fix the bad plumming was to burn innocent people alive and destroy the city? Executioner my ass, she will be remembered for being the mad kings daughter. What you did at minute 1:13 is exactly what the producers should have done in that part of the episode, I swear I was out of breath when the voices began to be heard and Dany's face changed little by little, it was something great!

I don’t think she was in the wrong for doing it and I can totally see Dany mad, my problem with D&D and season 8 is that they didn’t develop it right and rushed it too much, she deserved a better descent into madness than that.

i LOVE what you did with her thoughts right when she made the decision to burn king's landing! the way you let all the things people said to her play through her mind and then Lady Olenna's phrase at the end! That's amazing editing right there!!

Then thire queen pushed her off the brink when she killed the last person she cared about. Tyrion begged Cersei not to kill missandei but she did . She knew exactly what she was doing she knew danayres will destroy and kill her but her arrogance was too much. The only reason they rang the bell is because they were scared of dying. Not because they cared about her. Everyone needs to stop calling those people innocent. Her anger and pain was too much. Didn't Cersei do the same thing

People say she was a crazy but they are missing one point NO one on this game it's innocent! They forgot what cercei did? She also burn kingslanding when she killed margery and her family on season 6 and her son killed himself for it! Daenerys losted everything! And BTW she is a dragon!! She is not mad! She is just a human and all of them on game of thrones do terreble things, so I think she doesn't deserv so hate!! The same people that she burn are the same people that wanted Ned start an innocent killed, that people are not innocent! They just focus in the child's and mothers just for make us angry and blame her! But how many people do the starks, tyrel, lennisters, baratheon killed? Thousand of people!! People sometimes forgot it! 👀

rewatching it now, i just noticed how often the lyrics and stuff actually match with the scenes, like - 0:27 and 0:36 are amazing exmaples of it.

They woke the dragon

When i think back to this part, when i first watched it… Psychologically it made sense she became what everyone expected of her… it was a self fulfilling proficey that she ended up “like her dad”… One is told their whole life they’ll be one thing and they just… give in because no one expected anything else from her… As well, the comments are right… she was DROVE to this madness by the loss of those MOST loyal to her after Jon was found to have a higher claim to the throne… then her BEST friend was killed in front of her and told her not to surrender but to BURN Cerci… the only guy who LOVED her for who she was and followed her every order died in her arms… her husband and child were taken from her by a woman who said she would help but lied… and then when she couldnt have children, she took the dragons as her babies… and 2 of them were killed before her eyes… For someone who had nothing and everything to lose in that moment… she made a choice when the woman who have the order to kill her best friend tried to surrender after a majority of the kingdom was already in flames… She did what dragons did best… she burned her castle to the ground… Thinking on it now, it reminds me of Undertale when you chose to do the really bad ending… the last battle you face sans… Dany was Sans… and Cerci is the player… after all the terrible things she did, she tried to surrender… but Dany saw that Cerci had no mercy for when she basically abandoned them in the fight of the white walkers and when she killed her best friend… why should she have mercy on her when she has done NOTHING to show mercy to that point… SORRY, long one i know… but this is how i kinda made sense of this scene! 😅

Holy shit this is the best Daenerys video I've seen. I love fall out boy and this song fits her so well like I can say it was almost made for her. season 8 might've been hard to watch but it made for some bad ass videos and when you had Drogon breathing fire was so perfectly timed with the music. the voice overs went so well too, I love it when people add them in there. I really love this. my favorite part was when Daenerys was walking away from Cersei's castle, that fit in so well with the song. great job on the coloring too.

I've been saying since season two that she was a little insane and if she didn't watch it she'd tumble over that edge so many of her family had. It was actually really satisfying to see that madness in her acknowledged, even if it was sad that it meant she was truly lost and needed to be taken down. This is the perfect song for her!
