    What sticks out to me after the first 3 episodes, is just how good Negreanu is. His recognizing spots, his narration, he's a step ahead. He just knows. Definitely well deserved LEGEND status.

    This show is so freaking good ! Reminds me why I started playing poker. Daniel has been my favorite player since the very beginning love watching the speech play. If I were one of the newer players lucky enough to get on that show I’d be so annoying just asking Daniel and Jason every question I could think of what a crazy opportunity to get to sit and listen to GOATs talk through hands .

    Terrific review. I really appreciate the fact that you mention the show is 'highlights' and that there are hands that we're not privy to. That goes a long way with regard to how players will respond to certain hands. For the viewers, it looks like we're watching a short game with all hands played.

    The show is awesome. The one thing I would think would be cool is in the team events if they could only see their players cards. At least in the first round it would have been cool To hear the teams thoughts to see if they would have been as sure about whether a play was bad if they didn’t see the opponents cards.

    OK now the Q6 bluff makes sense. In real time I felt it made no sense, 2nd pair wins a good percentage of the time but when are you ever getting value from worse? And Robin never bet so it seems paranoid to think we need to bluff him off KX. It's insane how pros are able to read this well when it went check check check.

    Bro, how can Dnegs argument with Koon not make the edit????? One of them must of came off like a giant douche because there's noway they edit out controversy, it's exactly what fuel these shows. I bet anyone 500k that if it was any other 2 players it would of made the show but they're both GG sponsored pro's and I guess the look was really bad. What say you?

    You should assume people watched the show and keep the hand recaps brief - focusing instead on your reactions/analysis. It’s sooo frustrating having to listen to the play by play in such excruciating detail. Instead can be quick like “let’s jump to the hand where you bluffed with Q6 when a one-liner came on the river. Daniel, can you walk us through your thought process on the hand?” (Thats enough or maybe a little more description of the action flop/turn/river. We know what you’re talking about and don’t need every detail replayed verbally. Then you give more time to the interesting part of this podcast).

  • @AuburnBlue

    I don't buy that. You're not going to see some weird coin distro. I don't see it being anything more dramatic than maybe winner take all or even top 2 split. In other words, there's not going to be anything crazy that rewards last place more than 1st place in the last heat to save Clubs from being eliminated if Koon doesn't win.

  • @catheywang2574

    @catheywang2574

    No, clubs got eliminated. If you go to the opening in episode 1, you can see shots of Maria, Charlie, and Andy playing in clothes they didn't wear in round 1, so diamonds, spades and hearts all advanced. Also in the preview for episode 4 when Ali Nejad tells them to say goodbye and exit clubs were laughing while everybody else looked blank or politely smiling. As for the coin distribution, if they reward 4th > 1st it's gonna cause an uproar and it's better to lose some stars than piss them off. I think it's going to be steep but I also don't think it's going to be winner take all. The anchors are the biggest stars they can't have 2 of the 3 superstars advancing with 0 coins. I'm guessing it's going to be something like 80, 40, 15, 0. Steep but reasonable. As per the standing, Koon needs 18 pts ahead of David Williams, or 37 pts ahead of Jungle, or 54 pts ahead of Fedor. There's a shot in the preview where David says all in, you see the back of Fedor's head and Jason standing in the background, but no Jungle. So it looks like Jungle's the first one out. Then there's a hand where David reshoved on top of Jason's shove. Most likely Koon finished one place ahead of Jungle, but behind David and clubs busted. Gotta respect Daniel for being so passionate when he only played one round.
