He’s making a joke on how these women get paid more than the kids even though the kids are better. Obviously 15 year olds wouldn’t get paid the same as a national team just as obviously as women’s teams who generate half as much money as men’s teams shouldn’t be paid the same.

    S~Money2 lol so offended. All I got to say is if women want to be “equal” in athletics to men, which is never going to be possible and I’m not sexist at all it’s just the hard truth, then women soccer teams should play against men the same age as them. Bet you if this women’s team beat the boys “oh yeah see women are equal to men”.

    @@dontdodrugs4735 offended isnt the right word.. Im just in disbelief that you want to say how females will never be as good as men and claim not to be sexist. You've showed how naive you truly are adolf.. I couldn't care less about your opinion, because its motivated by pure sexism. Look at the stats... For the past 3 years, US womens soccer generated more revenue then the men did. So being that they're watched more, sell out more, and also won 4 world cups compared to the mens 0.. That alone is every reason to be paid more, and even equal to the men. So foh with that stupid shit.

    Reality is there's multiple leagues . 5 top ones . Three European cups now. We are not able to watch it all. If they just play with no drama develop their game it has more of a chance at being watched. We tolerate drama in the mens game but it hurts that to. They need to make encourage people to support it. By playing good competitive football. This shit that the us women's team was at really hurt the female game. Comparing themselves to the men it's just stupid. Women's golf and tennis Is more successful coz they don't do this .

    If women and MEN are equal why do they play against children?

  • @Lucas_Tulic

    @Lucas_Tulic

    5 жыл бұрын

    Because the moment they decide to play against men the same age, they will be destroyed in the first 15 minutes of the match, and with men playing softly and really conditioned, because subconciously they are all programed to be gentle with women. If they were to play women the same way they do when they play with other men, they would brake a couple of the women's legs and heads without even trying. That's why they generally play against little boys, although the result at the end is the same, an embarrassing loss!

The greater muscle mass of men is the result of testosterone-induced muscular hypertrophy. Men also have denser, stronger bones, tendons, and ligaments. 1W. But women produce more antibodies and at a quicker rate than men, and have more white blood cells. For these reasons, they develop fewer infectious diseases and succumb for shorter periods 2M. Men have greater cardiovascular reserve, with larger hearts, greater lung volume per body mass, a higher red blood cell count, and higher haemoglobin. They also have higher circulating clotting factors, which leads to faster healing of wounds. 2W. But women have a lower blood pressure than men, and, at least prior to the menopause, are less likely to suffer from potentially deadly cardiovascular diseases. 3M. Men are less likely to suffer with depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. 3W. But women are less likely to suffer with alcoholism, antisocial personality disorder and psychopathy, and developmental psychiatric disorders such as autismspectrum disorders and Tourette syndrome. 4M. It has been suggested that the variance (or spread) in IQ scores is greater in men. If this is true, there should be more men than women with an exceptionally high IQ. 4W. But at the other end of the spectrum there should also be fewer women than men with learning difficulties.

    The fact that for big chunk of the time the boys had the higher possession % against grown semiprofessional players who resort to a 4-4-2 formation to accumulate as much people in the back to defend the attack of the kids and rely on counter attack .... baffles me ..

    I expect this is great training for the women because they're used to opposition that allow them to play slow but they need to play a bit faster, better under pressure, and apply more pressure.

    I understand why there's a lot of criticism here against the women's team but here's a case to not be so disparaging. I think we are all a bit sick of the identity politics telling us we have to see the women's league as equal to the men's league but it is worth keeping in mind that this activist element in our society is not necessarily representative of the views of majority of female players. They obviously love the game and so they are not the enemy. Having more women that love the game should be a positive for us. I suggest that the Young Matildas here knew coming in to this game that it was going to be difficult for them to win, and that it would encourage the harsh criticism that you see here in the comments, and yet they did it anyway likely because playing against stronger teams is a way to improve their game. Most of us here would agree that the pay difference is because the men are playing at a higher level and as a result attracting more revenue. This does not mean though that we can't try to have a world class women's league and that it's necessary to have them paid enough, that they can train as full time professional players. Once this becomes possible as a career, it attracts more women to be serious about it, and over time this will help build up the skill level in the league. They don't need to be in direct competition with the men, they can exist a separate competitions. I coach an under 11's girls team.The girls enjoy the game and want to compete and why shouldn't they? Happy for you to call out the ridiculous ideas of identity politics but just think about who you are targeting. Target the people putting out silly ideas and not the players themselves. The girls here are out matched by the U15 boys team but they have made it in to that team by being selected from what is available in the WPL at the time. You wouldn't see such harsh criticisms seeing a male community team go up against an A-League team and rightly so because they are different levels of competition.
