This documentary is so filled with love. You can hear the love in the voice of the people who work there, you can see the love in the eyes of the people visiting, and you caught the love & passion of the owner virtually bursting out of him. I feel so fortunate to be only a short drive away from here. I have been to this arcade countless times, and I've probably spent hundreds coming here over the years. Hearing these guys excitedly talking about this arcade has renewed and doubled my respect for The Galloping Ghost, I immediately wanted to plan another day to visit. The shots of kids playing the games made me smile, The NBA Jam story made me cry, and the ending made me feel triumphant for the arcade. I didn't realize how much of a chance the owner took trying to make this arcade work, because when you walk into this place and see people having such a good time - it makes sense that this arcade is so succesful. I hardly ever feel "like a kid on Christmas morning" anymore, the closest I get comes from stepping into this arcade and being in awe of what a fantastic place it is. I have so much respect for The Galloping Ghost, I could go on for hours about this place. Thank you, Nice Pants, for such a great documentary! You really showcased something special!

this documentary gave me tears to be honest. people who dont understand games or to whom they aren't important - will never appreciate what an amazing valuable service these people are doing. this is historical preservation of a medium and a technology which isnt as appreciated as it should be. and for those to whom they are important to - well, things like this are beyond important and beyond appreciation. thank you so much for doing this. i doubt ill ever be able to visit but i wish i could. you do know how much this means to people but you also can never know. you are heroes

I was an arcade rat at the Namco Cyberstation HIP mall and the arcade in the back of Ceaserland most my youth. Puzzle Bobble and Metal Slug were my daily grinds. And any CAVE shmup as well. Then they both closed and my anti social reclusive self somehow got married and got a career. 2020 saw both the loss of my marriage and my job. I found this arcade mid summer this year shortly after they re opened and like any rat would I crawled back into my hole...

Remember playing Narc on free play at some canteen/kitchen expo and as on it 4 straight hours while my family looked around the event. These things were designed to addict! Parodius though, is my game of choice, even finally managed to own it a few years back but eventually had to sell due to space. Nothing beats an arcade and its machines, nothing. It was as much as social space to hangout and have a laugh than anything. Top video, great memories.
