This is pretty neat, love seeing channels covering less popular options in the firearms community!
I've had the Miami classic since 1998, for my G19. Payed $125. I've bought the components for it where I can carry a 1911 and a left hand G19, so I could carry two. I can't express enough how well built it is. 25 years later it's still going strong.
Would love to see these worn with a suit

As long as it's not cut to tight it works great with even an over shirt.

@dannybrown6678 depends on the pistol too.
Galco is legendary for their high quality leather holsters. Many years. They are pretty much the staple for shoulder holsters
I've been using the Miami Classic for the last few months, I absolutely love how comfortable it is and it allows me easy access in my vehicle. I'm in my truck most of the day driving around so a waist height holster was just bad. I've been crawling around with it on, front and back and everywhere in between. Having 2 extra mags on hand is also quite nice and is actually kinda necessary if you want to balance the system better. VERY well made holsters, well worth the money IMO.
Never thought getting one of these until now. Huge game changer as I thought the waist holsters were the only way to go. Im real glad I found your channel
Galco is probably my favorite holster manufacturer.
I saw one of these at Sportsman’s and picked it up for a rainy day without looking anything up about it and glad I picked it up.
quality content, per usual. feels like i’m in on gun-tubes best kept secret with finding this channel at sub 100k subscribers. keep it up, brother!
I have a set up much like this for two of my heavier, full sized pistols because it truly works best for me. Out of all options available to me, this allows for the greatest concealability, comfort, mobility and accessibility. The trick is that it needs to be fit to you and your sidearm.
Pretty good stuff. 1st video. Your channel was at the top when I searched Vertical holster system. Just started thinking about something like this for canoe camping & other outdoor stuff. Concealed carry too. Galco is a good leather company. Big name in the industry for 5 decades, but not so big you can’t call them up on the phone and talk about something you need .Every holster I’ve had from them has been good .Liked & subscribed .take care.
These look awesome, super clean. Another great video man!
I just purchased the VHS 4.0 as a Christmas gift to myself. Wasn’t sure what model pew to get it for. I went ahead and snagged one for my P226 Elite. As I guy who has been carrying AIWB for the last 10 years, it’s liberating to say the least. 10/10 comfort level 10/10 quality. I was weary about the plastic parts that came with it but they seem to be as sturdy as the leather. I’ve been practicing my draw and it serves as a way of breaking the leather in as well. I did a brand comparison before spending the money and unless you spend big bucks having some custom made and not come out right, this seems like the top tier pick for the money. It’s a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. I learned that it’s extremely important to not skimp out on holsters because they are as important as the pew they carry. Thanks for this vid, I had a couple of the same complaints as far as not being able to use extended mags, but oh well. I’m planning on purchasing just the holster for another model pistol since I have the shoulder rig already. Always nice to have options. I’ve always been a kydex IWB retention guy but this VHS system brings a whole new level to winter wear. Idk what I’m going to do when jacket weather is over with. Back to sweating on kydex Tier1’s I guess lol. Thanks man, decided to subscribe for more. Merry Christmas
Hey, that was a good vid , thank you! I have a craft vertical roto holster that works perfectly for me in cooler weather which doesn’t happen very often in southwest Florida!!!
I have the miami classic II for my full size hk usp 45 and love it
Great review. Looks like a fantastic, comfortable option!
Love this for the aesthetic honestly 😅
I really got the Miami classic because of iconic childhood nostalgia..same reason i got a mp5 clone..but i do still carry with my shoulder rig ..comfortable, i can draw while sitting down, carry while riding my bike..and to top it off it looks badass lol
Just got a Galco leather iwb holster that came with my usp compact 40. It’s a really nice fit and feel.
Galco is one of the biggest holster manufacturers and has been around for decades, sonny crocket used their shoulder holster in maimi vice that's what it's called the maimi classic, in the early 90s when I was a kid maimi vice was one of me and my dad's favorite shows to watch they were always showing reruns
Heck yeah, bring the 90s back.

These are oozing 80s bruh. They named them the miami classic based off the 80s tv show Miami Vice for the holster Don Johnson wore
Great quick video. Reminds me of the 1980's Miami Vice era 🤣 but awesome that you found a solution for when you can't appendix carry.
I loved this 👍🏻
Also looks swag af 😎
Get the Parabellum version for open top mag holsters to carry extensions. It's a kydex holster with leather straps.
Have this set up for my PPK
Would love to see some draws from the holster as well as reload
Classic Hit man set up lol. Good video brother
I've had two of these holsters for a couple years, one for Glock 19/17 & one for S&W M&P. I prefer DeSantis for the heavier 1911 as it has wider shoulder straps. I have had failures with the plastic parts cracking, as such I always replace all plastic parts with brass and install grommets on the leather at the connecting points.
SO i purchased the Shoulder harness for my G17 and G48MOS no Optic. I love it with the G48. However, it's tough to find a good jacket or sport coat to conceal it properly with out being to tight in the chest and imprinting. Any recommendations? I've adjusted it for the g48 to be right under my peck on the side. so it sits well against my body. Just the front shows some poking...
Would love to see a video test using this.
Gunfighter inc. Makes a light and/or optic compatible shoulder holster. I have galco jackass holsters also, love em.
This video was exactly what I was looking for, thank you. Two questions: Are the holsters interchangeable on different harnesses? Like can I buy a system for my 43x, and buy a separate holster for the 19x and swap it on the harness? Second question, would my 19x with a TLR-7 fit just fine in one designed for a 19x w/ TLR-1? They havent expanded to all my options yet.
How do you feel about the hybrids that sit on the back of hip?
i have a polyester belt, it is wonderful, lighter than leather, breathes, and doesn't stretch. So that is what i think i would prefer the straps to be made of
Love this. Super unfortunate they don’t have an option for light or optic. If they did I would prob buy rn. Been thinking about shoulder carry bc I drive so much and appendix just doesn’t seem very ideal for that. Not just bc of comfortability but also access. Lack of optic and light option basically takes it off the table tho

i know you should have a light on defensive handguns i get it. but you could just carry a flashlight in your pocket, you train with it you’ll be okay.

@@wehrwxlfI advocate for both , they make plenty of budget options for small and durable flashlights with high lumen count plus it never hurts to be able to see more at least imo
Can you hook it down to your belt like suspenders?
if this fits the 43x it should also fit the 48 right?
Hey, what's your opinion about PSA JAKL?
I use the galco lite for my glock 19/26
Cool holster and great video as always, but where’s the shirt from? super cleannnnn
Ive had 1 for a long time. It wasnt cheap
I have a iwi masada similar to smith& weston 9mm. Could it fit?
I bought a vintage Miami Classic for my M9 from an antique store (they had a box of assorted holsters) for $25. Don't know if I'm ever going to start concealed carrying but, for that price, it would've been stupid not to grab it.
Whats going on man, Needed your help in the right direction....i have a gen 5 glock 45 and 17 with a gen 3 glock 19...with me adopting the minimal 2 gun to own situation which one of the two covers more ground? Help me out man, appreciate it
Summer drip
I have two Galco shoulder rigs, a Miami Classic for a 1911 and Miami Classic Lite for a S&W Shield. IMHO Nothing better if you spend hours behind the wheel.
Galco Leather is like the Cadillac of the gun holster world. I own a lot of their stuff. They should have named that the 1986 Miami Shootout Holster though, because that was one badass (and legendary) shootout.
Clean dapper fit, but still about that life.
I think it would be super easy to create a addon piece of leather with some buttons to enable the extended mags. 🤔
Would it fit a sa-35 tho?
How hard is it to draw with this setup?
Try on more jackets🎉
😍

This is a bad way to carry. Super nice quality holster however not the best way to go
I believe God protected me from military service for a reason. I was delayed entry, then I got injured bad and was dropped by my recruiter and disqualified from service. I was crushed at the time but I can see God’s hand in it, knowing what I know Now
