As a former photographer who carried gear for hours on end, up to 5-7 pounds for one system. Those neoprene shoulder systems work great. Glad to see them incorporated in this holster. Love my Galco Classic lite but for heavier guns this is a must. Will try one of these out for sure.

Bonus points for carrying a DA/SA! I’m actually really impressed with the features of the alien gear shoulder rig.

Would have loved seeing you both putting on your over shirts so we could see printing...

Mine just showed up. This video did it for me. Thanks! Anxious to get it adjusted and start breaking it in. This will allow me to more easily carry in my car with aggressively bolstered Recaro seats. Very hard to carry in that car using inside waistband carry. I think I will enjoy this option a lot for my XDs .45.

Looks well designed. I have boxes full of holsters in the garage…most didn’t work, but this looks well thought out.

I've had many shoulder holsters over the years. They are so right about price. You do get what you pay for, especially in shoulder holsters!

The best tutorial on an item am seriously considering purchasing, being mostly in suits in the course of duty.

First and foremost - thanks for a VERY straight forward review with no (at least not that I noticed) redundancies. Secondly, there's no need to keep rotating any product in your hands and repeatedly showing the EXACT same item over & over, for seconds at a time as you (meaning others, not you two) as if only doing to buy time and think of additional information that should've been determined before hitting record. People who do tell me they believe I've rather watch them rather than continue with my search. I've not finished many videos because of that. It didn't take the entire video, but I'm glad I watched, but I was sold early on. It wasn't just tolerable, but provided useful end to end and seemed to stop when you completed you presentation. I'm not watching the video again, but I don't you mentioned you do have a respectable return policy. This is very important to people like me, that ride 4X physique, or are just fat. I have tons of four X's shirts and they are by far not all created equal. I really hope it fits, but if not I'll buy with the peace of mind knowing I can return it. That's that for my 5:AM rant and am looking forward to the new holster. PS, the fact you have no dislikes tells me other may view videos the same way.

@@Aliengearholsters I had the first holster when AG first started. The company finally increased customer service and quality holsters now. The shoulder rig you guys made a great choice. The option to flag your gun. But you guys need to make option to TIL your caint at 45 degree. You see alot more people not comfortable. Flagging by standers. I use the Jackass rig and gun points up until you raise arm and draw weapon... But I like were your going with this design. Great video..

I’m waiting for version 2 where there will be pads to cover the mag carriers as well.

Love and use Alien Gear shoulder holster (black) often. Had it for a couple of years and have never had a better fitting one ever before.

I saw your chest holster n just don’t like center chest ones, and this under arm holster seemed simple but came with a lot more surprises

My step dad told me about you and then randomly you were the first result for shoulder holsters that I searched. I’m excited to see if my XD 45 can fit smoothly. It’s my first side arm and it’s heavy lol .

Now AG needs to make special orders !, like I have a XDM 3.8 with a viridian XL5 laser light that I’m not willing to give up just to use AG gear . Also now that AG has things figured out , it’s time to make as many gun shells as they possibly can to reach every one with there type of EDCW ! Maybe I’ll see a shell for my EMP4 one day and get the shoulder rig !

Someday I hope ya'll make Clooak shells for the shoulder holster system that works for Chiappa Rhino. 30ds or 40ds in specific. so comfy but so limited choices.

I just received my shoulder holster 2 weeks ago and love it! However, I think that the instruction booklet was a little lacking. These videos should help with that.

I've been using this rig for months. Most comfortable SH I've ever had excellent product. One thing I personally find odd is carrying mags bullet nose down. When reaching for a mag I find it's very natural to index the mag with bullet nose up and VERY unnatural to try and and align my index finger with the front of the mag in bullet nose down position.

I know this comment is from 2 years ago and I’m sure they’ve helped fix your problem, but I’m watching this video for the first time and noticed that in 7:05 and at 7:07 he actually has a his extra mags mix matched, one mag mullet nose down, and the other up. Also awesome customer service to Alien Gear Holsters! Skimming through the comments I think it’s awesome you guys are replying and liking comments. Love to see it!

Should come with a interchangeable mag holders. The stock with 2-mags, and a second with 1-mag, and a flashlight, or knife..

Would like to hear a discussion about which of the four models of shouilder rigs you sell to buy depending on our preferences.

i live in south Texas, usually no bulky coats, pads on the straps would probably print under a simple long sleeve shirt

The strap lengths are adjustable, and therefore so is the height to a degree. It is designed to be worn on the chest. 04:00 I have that exact issue with the mag holder side. Wish they had a cover for the mag wells. Rubs my arm raw and their customer service suggested just taking off the mags and make them Outside the belt with a $5 purchased clip to convert it. I suggested just putting a black sock over them. I still have not worn it in months. $130 wasted for me. I support them since they are an Idaho company. Also I'd prefer the belt strap clip facing the other way so the clips don't get hung up in BDU pull straps under the belt.

This is really excellent, thanks! I've been looking for a comfortable shoulder holster for my Walther PPQ for some time. I think I've found it.

Can you please do a DETAILED video of assembling this shoulder holster. Currently, I don't care about the magazine component. I care about assembling the area with the pistol itself goes. Specifically, do you use half of the shell or the full shell? Do you use the passive retention piece or leave it off? How do you add the passive retention piece? I am not referring to the thumb release. I am referring to the retention piece that can be tightened with one of the pieces that locks the two shells together. Please help and thank you in advance.

Well done overall, the only suggestion I would give, is make the elastic easily replaceable as its the most likely wear item. Otherwise I think its solid as a long term purchase.

It’ll be sometime before I can come up with the money but my dream is to get a shoulder holster with the Taurus raging judge magnum

Hey, Alien Gear. Will a CZ P07 fit in one of these? I took a look at the Shapeshift shoulder holster and it said only for the P07 Duty.

Nice I’m really wanting one for my G19 to add to my collection of holsters. I can’t find a video on the differences between the Cloak and ShapeShift shoulder holsters but the ShapeShift looks a little cooler.

They're essentially the same holster, but the base below the gun has mounting for ShapeShift or Cloak. Same great features on both. The design on our shoulder holster really is top notch

Also, as shipped the holster is as tight as possible. Removing the thumb break loosens the holster sufficiently that the firearm can fall right out.

The ultimate way to carry concealed in the winter when it's cold.

I just got my shoulder holster on April 18, 2019. Overall comfortable and awesome product. I did notice the thumb release has a lot of play/flexion and can be difficult to press at times given that it is polymer. I'm aware that a lot of time and money goes into R&D, however, would AGH consider possibly going with a machined aluminum thumb release in the future? I believe that it would eliminate the flexion that makes it, at times, difficult to initiate the release but also allow folks who use the thumb release via shoulder holster as well as AGH's other holster platforms, to be more confident with training and/or using it for EDC.

I love the idea of a shoulder holster but being a bigger person it's hard reaching all the way across my chest to draw from it I also hate belts so I think since I can't really find one I'm fixing to have to make a chest holster to eliminate all my problems and be able to carry comfortable

Thank you for reaching out! At this time we only offer this Shoulder holster. However, one side can come off the belt and has a little attachment that goes up towards under the arm.

I like there shoulder holster but they don't make one for my glock 30s if they did I would for sure get one. I want a shoulder rig for summer I like wearing basketball shorts so no belt.
