Used this video to prepare for replacing my Tab3 screen. This is definitely one of the better videos. Some notes:- First minor observation would be to lightly tape the home button in place on the new digitizer (tape to outside of course) prior to the one off chance fitting. Second minor observation - with regard to aligning the digitiser to the Tab3 body to less than 0.5mm I would use sight and feel to fit the digitiser as near perfect and central as possible. Mine centralised perfectly using sight and feel. Quite important as you don't really get a second chance. The points about dust avoidance and keeping clean are important and rightly emphasised. One Tab 3 screen replaced successfully. Thanks for the video that made the task easy.

I just did this per your instruction and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately the screen I ordered had a small imperfection it's no big deal and you can hardly notice it when the device is on and in use. Since this is my personal device it's not a big deal. Great video!

@TheRedstoneVillager Yep. Still one of the best cameras you can get in a phone IMO. DSLR coming soon though. It's about time to start shooting these in 4K.

Can the new digitizer be tested before removing adhesive backing and permanently installing? I have old one removed, new one plugged in but not adhered yet, system boots but touch doesn't work.

Thanks for the video. Check out a LensPen for working on raw screens. If you smudge the screen the charcoal end is great at taking out fingerprints without having to go through buffing out a screen cleaner forever. You can also use the brush for the random debris instead of canned air. Canned air's probably a bit more convenient, but the brush is certainly less consumable.

+Go Cell Phone Repair I'm not sure there's a meaningful difference between the flavors, though the micro can be handy for recessed cameras or camera glass covers. There's a 3 pack that's a pretty reasonable way to go.

is galaxy tab 3 same as galaxy tab 3v touch digitizer?

I have one of these and the screen is cracked but Lcd is ok should it still show images ? mine just lights up grey. Could it be more than the screen?

sounds like it. if it's just the screen u should be able to see everything. do some more research on your problem
