    There is a reason why they put the snapdragon still in the S24U. Also it seems they let the Exy chipset run 4-6C higher than snap. This has already been tested. This is also why S24U is unstable and throttling. They probably slowed down the beast on purpose so Exynos can shine abit. Clearly Exynos is still inferior. And buying the Exy chipset phone means you support their greedy practises.

  • @MrDatandroid

    @MrDatandroid

    5 ай бұрын

    @@KasKade7 I disagree. I don't think they're being greedy at all. I believe they're trying to get their own processor back in the game and the best way to do that is slowly and letting people decide if it's good or not. The fact that it is inferior to snap is clear, but I don't think their goal was to surpass snap just yet. First, they need to gain people's trust by letting their chipset speak for itself, then, in the follwing years... BAM! I mean, if you think about it, would you rather be stuck with a processor from a different company or have your own? What if the quality of snap starts to decrease? They need to have a working processor to substitute. Plus, they get to maintain the quality themselves, since it's their own product. I honestly would use a similar strategy if I were in their shoes. I could be completely wrong, but I choose to believe that this is actually their plan.

    They should have done worldwide Exynos then. Giving only US snapdragon just feels wrong and likely did that because of costs. I will not buy a Exy phone. That's for sure. I have been using accubattery since 3 years I have used it in my old phones and also installed in my existing s23 since day 1. If I leave mobile data on it drains about 3-4% per hour idle and if I use my phone on 5g data minimum battery drain would be 15% per hour. On wifi it it consumes about 12% per hour. Yesterday I had charged my phone until 85 % and went to office. The battery drained 15.7% in 5hr 42 mins. 56% in 3 hours 8 mins. Overall 72% drained in 8 hr 50 mins. If I turn off the mobile data the idle drain is less. Even if i turned off the mobile data the other day it consumed 8.8% in 7hr 42 mins. I find the network flutuates a lot in Samsung galaxy s23 it switches to 4g very quickly if the 5g signal strength is weak. I checked at my house where the 5g signal strength is around -105 dbm my phone switches to 4g very where the signal strength of 4g at my house is even weak and data doesn't work most of the times but in my father's phone Samsung galaxy s21 fe snapdragon version the data doesn't switch to 4 g that much. And also if the 5g signal strength is weak I have checked multiple times the data speed on the Samsung galaxy s21 fe is 2 to 2.5 times higher than S23. If I get 100 to 120 Mbps on s21 fe I get around 20 to 30 Mbps on s23. But if the signal strength is better the speed is considerably high on s23
