You should show good lock from galaxy store, you can hide all icons at the top of your screen, like battery % wifi signal, or show some. Mine are hidden unless i use the pull down menu, then i see all

Dark mode also helps to conserve the battery since the S23 uses the OMLED screen, black areas on the display are not using any of the LEDs in that section. So if most of your screen is black, then you're not using as much battery power.

I love how detailed you are in explaining things.

Thanks for taking the time to make the video. I find your delivery slow enough to keep up but fast enough not to let my boredom kick in. Thanks. (note, I had to download SwiftKey, which was not a problem. Just not preinstalled).

@Tech Guy Charlie for me it's the perfect pace. And so helpful as I've been away from Samsung for 10 years! (One last thing ref. SwiftKey. The s pen does not work seem to work in text fields such as SMS and chrome. It works immediately when switched back to the Samsung keyboard. Any ideas?)

That compass on edge panel was looking so good aesthetically I changed it immediately, also thanks for the full detailed video

Fantastic video friend. Very comprehensive and easy to follow. You do everything at a reasonable speed. Nothing worse than a 'tip' video with some overly caffeinated person going through everything too quickly.

Great stuff Charlie and a lot of these settings can also be applied to the S22 Ultra. I just got the 5.1 update last week and there are a lot of small changes that make up a nice list of improvements.

Thanks for sharing. Is there a way to set seconds in the lock screen without tapping on the clock itself? And for the main screen. So the time is not just 12:17 but 12:17:12 :) I mean without using different apps. Regards!

Fun fact, fully updated Note 20 Ultra has all of these features! 😉 anytime man! You will love the S23 Ultra, its camera, performance and battery life is a major step up from Note 20 Ultra.

I am very glad that most everything of it, I can do on my note 10+

Something I found while looking for the keyboard setting that I'm very about. IF you have more then one language set for typing, you can now enable language detection while typing. I didn't know it until today

Great video! I went to Keyboard list and default, but the Microsoft SwiftKey isn't present. I do have the S23 Ultra. Any ideas?

Very helpful but the Microsoft keyboard sometimes doesn't show suggestion as you type in some app even when it has been enabled and it automatically hide the option to use or see copied items

I've noticed while I use darkmode some themes don't work. I use a dark theme so it still gets the same effect as dark mode, even tho I don't have it selected.

A great video fo anyone with UI 5. I have a lowly A53, but the same tips work for it as well.

Thank you and its probably not included, Samsung has different software customizations depending on the country the phone is sold in, in this case you will need to download it from the play store.

I just got the S23 Ultra two days ago; I'm in the USA. Thank you so much for all of your time and effort in making this "GREAT" video. You've saved me, and I'm sure many others, a ton of time with the setup; very well done my friend. A couple of things, the Microsoft Keyboard you spoke of isn't on the page you directed me to (on MY phone). EVERYTHING that's on (YOUR) page is on mine (EXACTLY) except the Microsoft Keyboard option!!! One more question, what do you think about the Ram Plus Option (on or off)? Thanks again for your time...

Sorry!! I missed your comment, the Microsoft keyboard isn't there because Samsung customizes the pre-loaded apps on their phones which depends on the region they are sold in, so it might not be there on yours, no worries just grab it from the play store, as for the RAM plus, switch it off, its just a gimmick, you don't need to use the phones internal memory as RAM, the S23 Ultra already has plenty of dedicated RAM.
