Just got the S23 Ultra yesterday from Best buy. Came from using iPhones the last 6 years, Samsung has completely blown apple out of the water. No competition!

My S23 Ultra doesn't arrive until tomorrow, so I tried the voice recorder widget thing on the S22 Ultra. It's installed, shows up in the widgets, I even moved it to the top! But when I tap the clock, only the weather widget shows...

also with the S23 phones do they all have the ability for the side panel quick finds like screen shots, weather etc.? (I have a much older phone: S8 but love it & your vid how to set it up back then was fantastic. I'm not real tech savvy)

​@@ogunquit7me based on what type of OS for your phone then you can either have these features or not. I believe mine is on OS 10 and I have most of these features but not all of the newer stuff but I still have the main ones on here. I belive S8 can do the same ones that I have

Been a galaxy owner since the S7. Apple has great phones and all but Samsung has really stepped up their quality and has provided a phone that doesn't have that generic feel that is inherent to Apple products. Came from a Note 20 Ultra and it's a nice upgrade just for the battery and display. No more choosing between resolution and refresh rate. You can get them both. Battery is amazing as well. Not to mention the cameras

You can adjust your preferences to use the microphones from connected Bluetooth devices.

@@normj14 Absolutely! Especially if taken care of. I realized resetting your phone to factory settings every 6-9 months makes your phone durable in the long run. I can be hardheaded and not do it but for this phone I will.

Your content is amazing. Saki, one thing i'm trying to find is AOD that moves on screen. Im hesitant in leaving this on fearing burn-in. My LG Velvet had a standard moving AOD that turns off when face down. Can Samsung deliver this? Thanks!

You can set it to tap to show, always, new notifications or when scheduled, you can also tune the brightness and lastly the aod moves from time to time to protect the screen as you mentioned

These are some awesome features. I knew of these features, just didn't know how to do ti.

22:55 but Saki as you'd know too, higher or highest brightness in a video doesn't necessarily mean that the quality will also be the highest. In fact sometimes it could even screw up the quality or at least make things too white-ish and not great to watch. So could you explain or elaborate more on this one? How is more brightness higher quality? Does it has to do with HDR? Thanks

Do you have the Samsung Members app? You can do diagnostics through there if you can't.

You have to activate developer mode but if u fuck with to much it can mess up phone

first thing I do with a new samsung is add goodlock .. Saki we need to learn from you about GoodLock

Hi sakitech. Please I have a question, or maybe I should say an issue with my s23 ultra. With other phones that I've used, there's always a charging light that comes on once the phone is plugged for charging. It goes from red when charging to green, when fully charged. Also, if I have a missed calls/msgs, there's an led blinking light (cyan, red, blue, or green) to alert me even before I pick my phone. With this ultra, none of the lights show up for charging or missed calls/msgs. My phone vibrates so I know I have missed calls and msgs. But I still want the led light. How do I get it? Or is it unavailable on s23 ultra? Thanks.

I miss the "voice recorder" widget from the list of the widgets and I can't use it at the lock screen.... Any idea what I can do?

I'm not seeing the very first thing, which is the option to record from the home screen. Is it bc I transferred data from my other phone? Did I transfer system files that prevented it or? I'm so confused

Love the writing on calendar. BUT, I reset my phone, and now everything I wrote on the calendar is gone. (I do have backup settings on everywhere) Anyway to restore what your wrote on the calendar after resetting the phone?

Good for you. You know how to do cool stuff. Now how the heck do I access the dang data folder? Without a laptop or 3rd party app. Because I would like to access it within the Samsung built in my files app.

i setup a bixby routine where i can double tap powerbutton to record voice. it even works with screen turn off

On my s9 note, if my phone is sleeping, I could look over and a little blue blinking light would flash to let me know I had a message if I missed it, etc. Does this phone do that?

So I caved in and traded my S22U for the S23U, ugh lol.. Great video, helped out tremendously.

I have noticed that the display of my S23U appears less vibrant and not as crisp as previous models such as the S21. I'm unsure if you're familiar with this matter, but I've come across online discussions regarding this problem. Are you aware of this issue, and could you provide some insights on it?
