The sergeant was praying to the emperor, praying for a miracle as the devourer closed in on what was left of his brothers. The Legion of the Damned fight in utter silence, though. At most allies fighting alongside them will hear whispers. Whether those whispers are from them or the warp communicating through them as the emperor's vengeance is delivered, thats up to your imagination.

Nah. The 2nd Battle of Terra was Custodes, Grey Knights and Sisters of Silence kicking serious Khorne ass when he tried to breach the imperial palace sending his 88 demon cohorts. The Custodes lost half their numbers deployed but the Chaos host got totaly annihilated.

I really enjoyed the background music... and I really wanted to enjoy The Emperors statement at the start, but, it just didn't match up, the speech was too fast.. all of the chaplain bits don't match up (which I get lore wise, walking through the warp and such) .. I just feel that the music is really good but doesn't match up with the orchestra.

+Matthew Brown The sense of life for the AA is fight and only future for them is death in glory. So sentence "Morituri Te Salutant" used here probably means that they are about to die in glory, fighting, becouse that is only sense of their lives. They are no longer humans, they can only feel pleasure when they are fighting. They are formaly dead from the moment of their recruitment (like on Fenris), so they have nothing to loose. They are about to die sooner or later, but they are, becouse they are made for war and only in death does duty end. They know that every battle can be their last, like every another day, so they are ready to die with sword/bolter in hand.

You see I've been cooking up a theory. Chaos doesn't play sides it's almost like it is a product of it's environment. Where the deep dark thoughts and dreams of humanity spawns a ton of daemons. Is it not possible for the un-educated masses of the Imperium, who never seeing a Space Marine themselves, to think and dream up projections of Astartes into the warp? I think the Legion are Imperial loyal daemons who were born from the thoughts and dreams of loyal Imperial citizens.

I'd say Legion of the Damned. The armor doesn't look like Chaos, and there are dead Daemons at their feet. Plus the song is about Loyalist Marines, not Traitor Legionaries.

Edward Ayala Legion of the Damned they're the only Space Marines that have bone and designs of death on their amour, and weapons that have fought tyranids. As far as I know.

Those that died with the shame of unfullfilled duty. Burning with sheer hartred and thristy for vengeance. The emperor's finest daemons. Always coming when astartes fail and kneel. A legion of dead space marines, now turned into the Emperors equivalent of Lesser Deamons. With the Living Saints as his Greater Deamons. But that's just a theory. One that I accept.
The sergeant was praying to the emperor, praying for a miracle as the devourer closed in on what was left of his brothers. He had heard the stories so he pleaded for his emperor to hear his prayer "my emperor, my chapter does not pray to you as we do not believe you to be a god as many others do. However I pray to you now to bring us from the jaws of defeat" as he said this a vortex of fire began swirling in between the two forces, "I beg of you send forth your final legion, let their song of war be heard, let their battle cry roar across the battlefield, my emperor send your last legion your greatest legion" the swirling pillar of fire had grown substantially and figures were seen moving in the inferno "SEND FORTH THE LEGION OFTHE DAMNED!" Suddenly an armored arm shot out of the blazing whirlwind which had now shot high into the sky and from it a raspy grating voice filled with contempt and hatred growled out four words "WE ARE THE LEGION!" The legion of the damned would march once more and for the first and perhaps last time their song of war would echo in the ears of their allies and their battle cry would be cast out over the field of battle.

The Legion of the Damned fight in utter silence, though. At most allies fighting alongside them will hear whispers. Whether those whispers are from them or the warp communicating through them as the emperor's vengeance is delivered, thats up to your imagination.

Nah. The 2nd Battle of Terra was Custodes, Grey Knights and Sisters of Silence kicking serious Khorne ass when he tried to breach the imperial palace sending his 88 demon cohorts. The Custodes lost half their numbers deployed but the Chaos host got totaly annihilated.

I really enjoyed the background music... and I really wanted to enjoy The Emperors statement at the start, but, it just didn't match up, the speech was too fast.. all of the chaplain bits don't match up (which I get lore wise, walking through the warp and such) .. I just feel that the music is really good but doesn't match up with the orchestra.

this does technically make the legion of the damned the "Daemons" of the Imperium if they are a result of the Emperor's will and on the same logic it makes Living Saints, Greater Daemons of the imperium.

+Matthew Brown The sense of life for the AA is fight and only future for them is death in glory. So sentence "Morituri Te Salutant" used here probably means that they are about to die in glory, fighting, becouse that is only sense of their lives. They are no longer humans, they can only feel pleasure when they are fighting. They are formaly dead from the moment of their recruitment (like on Fenris), so they have nothing to loose. They are about to die sooner or later, but they are, becouse they are made for war and only in death does duty end. They know that every battle can be their last, like every another day, so they are ready to die with sword/bolter in hand.

You see I've been cooking up a theory. Chaos doesn't play sides it's almost like it is a product of it's environment. Where the deep dark thoughts and dreams of humanity spawns a ton of daemons. Is it not possible for the un-educated masses of the Imperium, who never seeing a Space Marine themselves, to think and dream up projections of Astartes into the warp? I think the Legion are Imperial loyal daemons who were born from the thoughts and dreams of loyal Imperial citizens.

Thee guys are Chaos space marines right? Or are they Legion of the damned? Kinda hard to tell I am thinking they are Chaos but someone tell me if I am wrong or right pls :D

I'd say Legion of the Damned. The armor doesn't look like Chaos, and there are dead Daemons at their feet. Plus the song is about Loyalist Marines, not Traitor Legionaries.

Edward Ayala Legion of the Damned they're the only Space Marines that have bone and designs of death on their amour, and weapons that have fought tyranids. As far as I know.
