    I love getting stoned and watching these....pausing to reread each panel, and feeling like a lil kid again being so enamoured with great stories and a lil insight with the back story that Rob provides! thank you for these. I cannot tell u how much I appreciate u breaking down the story and giving us total insight to the intricacies of the story's by master story tellers! You sir are someone I'd would like to thank very very much for sharing your knowledge with us! 1 question I have is do u have an Instagram? if u don't u should look into making one and u could maybe do a facts series of posts or just kickass comic art u find especially appealing!

    How Franklin got his powers is fairly simple, The FF got their powers from "cosmic" radiation/power the same stuff that Galactus and his heralds use. It manifests some trait(s) of its wielder as a power (ie. Reeds flexible mind = elasticity, Bens rough attitude = Stone body, Sues protective nature and willingness to let credit go to others = shields and invisibility, Nolan Rads pure devotion to his purpose = a solid unblemished form.) Franklin was a unborn child/infant when he was exposed and as parents have told their children thru the ages "you can be anything when you grow up" hence the ability to do anything.

    +madPaulX While yes the FF exemplify the for elements, I am speeking of ALL cosmic powered character. The elements have long been associated with varrious personality traits and the iconic Four element setup is a common theme. In the case of the FF they have powers linked to the elements their personality most closely matches, but not all heralds follow the elemental pattern, while they do follow personality patterns.

    @@gamecommanderswarroom6283 nah Sue's ability's property is quite literally psionic forces, nothing to do with air, your simile is all it is... a simile and while it's perfectly fine. The guy earlier dismissed a perfectly plausible comment with a comment that was very wrong in the aspect of how their powers manifest. Because it wasn't ALL based off the 4 elements. Susan storms power has literally nothing to do with air. And Mr fantastic power is elastic, he holds a solid form and isn't formless like water and cannot become liquid in anyway. The thing and Johnny are the only ones applicable.

    I agree with that thought. And to further that, what are the odds that his father had the ability to travel through time? I mean, the F4 got their abilities by being in the right place at the right time, and their children got their abilities because their parents were a sort of host for that immense power and it was concentrated in their offspring. THE WHOLE DAMN FAMILY DOESN'T NEED TO BE A SUPER! DAMN!

    Most of them were not super powered unless being super smart is a power? But i always thought that was something that came naturally to him. So no high school teachers here

    In an infinite multi-verse, every possibility is explored. But like Rob himself said, they didn't explore absolutely every possibility in the comic (mainly because you wouldn't ever have the space or the time to depict a literal infinite amount of sets of possibilities) but they did explore the more interesting ones, like him having different powers or different versions of himself. Showing all the Reeds that turned out dumb and had no powers would have just been a boring gesture from the writers/artists perspective of creating entertaining content and keeping it entertaining the whole time. Also, if you explored EVERY possibility, 99.999% of those wouldn't end up being a non-powered Reeds. I don't know how you got that. There'd be a bunch of them non-powered, sure, but there'd be just as many exploring all the possible variants of his powers, him having different people's powers, or variants of different people's powers, etc. There's an insane amount of possibilities, more than one can imagine, so it's easy to miss out or forget certain things like that...

    This story HAS to be the next Endgame level event. just seeing the panel with Future Franklin showing up when all hope seemed lost, with that piano Johnny Cash melody in the background, it gave me goosebumps man, the same kind as when i heard "on your left" during the climax of Endgame.. Make Galactus the antagonist in one of the F4 movies, hell maybe even an 'Age of Ultron' style middle Avengers movie, but by god make this the final battle, not him. Can you imagine the roar in the theater as our heroes lay dead or dying, all hope is lost, when suddenly a portal opens and you just hear, booming across the battlefield: "TO ME, MY GALACTUS", and then a can of whoop-ass the likes of which has never been seen is unleashed. god i got goosebumps again just imagining it...

    There's a thing that I never really understood... If there are multiple reality warpers, don't they sorta cancel each other out? I mean, you either warp reality or you don't, so if 2 reality warpers both start using their powers at the same time, what would happen?

  • @amarsofiane

    @amarsofiane

    7 жыл бұрын

    well that would happen if the warping of one does the opposite thing of the other,

  • @animegamernerdo

    @animegamernerdo

    7 жыл бұрын

    Yeah, I know, in that particular instance it would cancel each other out. I guess I meant to say, who's reality warping would take affect? These powers are just so out there that it's practically impossible to come up with a plausible answer. Just saying, that one of them is stronger than the other so their powers take affect feels so cheap.

  • @amarsofiane

    @amarsofiane

    7 жыл бұрын

    well generally the power levels of said reality warpers would decide that,for example reality warping of the scarlet witch would be wiped by that of franklin richards or mathew malloy.

  • @phantomrisk4512

    @phantomrisk4512

    +eclipter I assume on who is more experienced and more powerful with said powers. If they were equal they would create a paradox and most likely get destroyed by a higher being for causing such mayhem. Reality warpers go through power. Like the comment above me said, scarlet witches reality warping power are dwarfed by Franklin Richards power.

    Well yes but they have multiple characters with excessive power but this one Is all they need never heard of this character he's basically a god then He goes across time recruiting his other selves together that's like a infinite loop till one of them becomes evil and try to kill off the others not to far from what Marvel would try to attempt to kill himself because of to much power plus the simple fact that at this point no would believe he can be killed but it's highly doubted that they would kill off a character this powerful that's were the most confusion comes it's seems that in marvel the most powerful being are suppose to be omnipresent omnipotent and omniscient wouldn't they know of Franklin and maybe try to do something whether good or bad well marvel has a lot of good stories but there are things that would be considered inconsistencies leaving more questions than answers but they like to leaves holes to keep readers interested in the characters so to speak the mystery when personally a lot of people from what I hear really don't like this idea but some put up with it anyway guess if you like marvel that much then so be this idea in general is used in multiple stories outside of marvel as itch so to speak becomes a scratch like hitting a nerve but not breaking it almost like a revenge of interest

    Ben Kenobi If I have to give one reason about why people hate Franklin is because he doesn't have any sort of downside and/or weakness to his power (And no, him being a kid doesn't count). Compared to other superheroes like... Scarlet Witch, her mental state makes her powers a danger to everyone, and even The Sentry, has agoraphobia and the Void to deal with... but that's not saying Franklin Richards should have some sort of mental state for me to like him. I feel like the "safeness" of Franklin Richard's character just makes people question why he can't fix everything. I guess it's a Marvel thing with writers trying to come up with something so that Frank's powers doesn't work for what ever reason.

    He couldn't, not even with young Franklin's conserved power (which future Franklin told him to conserve and save), they simply overpowered him. Sure his abilities are pretty op, but he does seem to have limits. Like when he re- created the marvel universe, he had MM powering him making it possible to create universes on an actual scale. Also if you can destroy a limiter in the DNA to auto manipulate itself like a self aware DNA strings that can modify themselves that can reach the level of subatomic particles manipulation. After that point controlling matter leads to controlling gravity forces and time. There are several levels or limits that can be broken.

    I've never been a F4 fan, do they ever explain why Franklin is so powerful? Just because cosmically irradiated Reed bones irradiated Sue? I'm so sick of these super powerful children of absolute nobodies on the power scale. Its highly illogical and getting repetitive. Galactus is supposedly the last being from what existed before this universe. Franklin is a child of two sub-super human beings. While the writing may be good, this concept is ridiculous. Not to mention the inconsistencies allowed just to serve the story, I know these aren't the main Celestials but in The Eternals by Gaiman Galactus is terrified of just the sleeping Celestial, So them needing to merge to beat him is outlandish.
