The L-39 is a reliable jet for pilots. Do you remember Tom Cruise and Top Gun? He has this L-39.

First - congrats on the Flying Eyes sponsorship. Got a pair for my birthday (supported InTheHangar with that one) and I'll absolutely support you with my next purchase because there will be one. Second - great video as always. How'd you like the new cockpit? I know you touched on it, but I'm interested in a little more of the "feel and look" while flying. Also, I'm back in Dallas so I didn't get to see Rick's new panel for long, but he seemed to really be liking it as they got the kinks worked out.

Great video great planes. Got couple question how much runway does she need during landings. And what was your speed over the fence? Thanks.

2200’ is no problem but with 100 kts over the fence & quick braking. This is hard on expensive brakes though so a 5000’ RW is ideal. You can air brake some b4 using the brakes. . 110-120 kts over the fence is normal on longer runways.

I work on these :) they are lovely and easy to maintenance and lovely to fly in :) by the way, you are damaging the front landing gear by pulling and pushing plane by it :(

@@footz71 there is tow bar with a bolt going through nosewheel bearing for steering and from that tow bar there are two cables going to each leg of main landing gear, where there is hook for attaching those cables from towing bar, basicaly you tow it for main landing gear struts, using front landing gear for steering only

@@Christph-vb1gn please keep it that way-- Czechs aren't so fond of Soviets or 1968 invasion. Anybody who has ever watched Czech vs Russian hockey knows there's no love spared. Aero Vodochody is Czech. We don't often see the little one flown in shows, but the L-159, but it's easy to see how Sonka became so crazy and why CZE has so many good aerobatic pilots.
