Gabrielle is a true hidden gem. Massively underrated. She left singing to do the school run and be a mother full time. No one is like gabrielle then before or ever since. Style.. Soul and class but she makes it seem so effortless.

This amazing song should’ve been a massive hit. Sounds like the best of early Motown. Criminally underrated Gabrielle-thank you for this beautiful song beautifully and soulfully sung that I’ve always held dear to my heart! ❤️

I was only 4 or 5 when this came out and this was my mothers favourite song while i was growing up. Every car ride this was played, and i've honestly lost count the amount of times i entered my house to this being played.

She is just a brilliant singer and released good songs. She reminds me of being back at school and listening to her. Good times. Love this song.

This song will all ways have a special place in my heart 2006 my best friend from childhood sadly lost his life right next to me in Afghan fighting for his country 2 month befor we was deployed he got married to his life long love at 23 years old and this was there song every time I hear it, it's on max volume knowing he will be singing at the top of his lungs above us all

I struggle with relationships and have been single for a long while and get lonely sometimes. This song resonates with me perhaps in a different way to what it is meant to but I find I always feel better about things having listened to the song. Beautifully sung by a great artist.

OMG I FINALLY FOUND THIS SONG!!! HEARD THIS FIRST IN A GYM IN 97; NO SHAZAM BACK THEN. TRIED TO MATCH VOICE TO OTHER ARTISTS, WENT THROGH CATALOGS AND CATALOGS FOR YEARS AND YEARS… DECADES LATER I FOUND IT.

This song was playing when I visited Metroland as a kid in 1996, still remember it 23 years later.

A song like this would never get airplay in 2020. Everything is commercial pop

Ive never forgotten this song. Its epic really! Id have loved to hear Amy Whinehouse cover this.

I've had this song in the back of my mind since I heard it on the radio as a kid, now I've finally found it and its every bit as epic as I remember.

2014....and this song is still going strong for me....timeless! truly a classic

Just took the family out for a meal after a sunny day. Tucked all the kids up and snook in to my room for a bit of music downtime.....this just fits with a glass of vino after an nice day. Easy listening.
