yeah, I was convinced he was finished when I saw him stagger off the plane with the european cup. it's a completely different mentality in other european countries. not all of them are tea total, but when they're not, they still arent going out getting hammered. in spain they look down on brits for it. i also doubt guardiola would come out and speak to the full extent, instead just talking about being worried. in fact, i doubt he's even worried - that's probably just a way he can bring it up without getting the backlash he'd likely get if he said grealish was done as far as he's concerned. guardiola is too clever to put himself in the firing line like that, but i'm convinced he thinks it, just because the way they talk about it in spain.

Honestly, ever since I started constantly watching programs such as this one, where ex players work as pundits, I've become convinced these people are shockingly clueless about this sport. I know it sounds like a paradox, and quite arrogant on my part. But some of these people are basically just as bad as Twitter trolls.

At City Grealish has been made to drop back and defend (unlike Rashford at United ) England are vulnerable at left back and need that ability. He also has top numbers for being involved in passages of play that led to goals in the Champions League beating the record set by Frank Lampard. Plus he would be good for team morale and all the girls fancy him😃

Grealish does have more experience in tournaments than Gordon and Palmer but Gordon and Palmer won the Euros at under 21 level which was a big achievement. Gordon and Palmer have been unreal this season. I do rate Grealish highly though and wouldn't be surprised if Gareth picks him.

Unfortunately for Grealish i can see his game time for City being very limited at best, sold in the summer and out the Euro squad, acting the drunk dafty, the attention he got and doing an interview saying it will be hard to be as motivated having won the treble is not the sort of professional i think Pep wants imo, ad the injuries to it and its very difficult for him to have a chance!

I'm Grealish' no 1 fan and I think he can run a game and control possession which is what we have always lacked, but his injuries will do for him.
