I’d love to see you review the Mobius. I was going to order a 98 but realized it wasn’t anything more than the 39 with a higher polish on the needle and better polished cup….glad I saved my money. The Mobius is intriguing but I may save my money for a H&S later this year so please do a review on the Mobius!!!

Awesome review!! I am looking forward to your review on the Mobius0.2mm and the Mobius 0.3mm air brushes. I have done reviews on all of there air brushes, however I build plastic model cars and trucks and awesome for those. The Mobius 0.3 is awesome! Review for the Mobius 0.2mm is coming soon. Awesome channel and air brushing you do, love it!!

Thanks Manny! I just tried to be as objective as I could with this review, I try and be objective with all of them. They have a few things they could iron out to make a big difference. But they do spray pretty nice. Longevity remains to be seen. I have a few concerns but all in all There are way worse options out there. Ive got the new evolution CR plus coming tomorrow. and then I THINK ill be done picking up new brushes a while.. although I might look for borrowing a mobeus versus buying one .. I have wayy too many airbrushes.

Last week I watched some reviews for this airbrush from gahleri and was close to buy one. I ended buying a ps289 for less money. Nice companion for my ps270 and the HP c+. I think this airbrushes, are just another chinese airbrush with a little quality control (still overpriced if it comes with some problems). So, if I learned something for the last 10 years... japanese always beat chinese.

A fair review, spot on. That price point is too high, £45/$45-£50/$50 is where it's at, personally I'd spend a little more for a branded AB, especially at $98/£98 I've the GHAD 39, bought it for £30 from a charity shop - that was fair for all concerned. I've yet to use it but it seems okay out of the box and is a back up AB.

For what it's worth, I just got my 2nd airbrush today, which was a GHAD-39. Compared to the brush that came with a $40 amazon kit, this thing is phenomenal. I was starting to get discouraged from airbrushing until I sprayed with this. For $36 shipped, I think I got a steal.

Mobius! Great honest review as always. I was hoping that the Mobisu would push me over the brink of choosing between the Creos vs Sparmax airbrushes -- I'd love to have your opinion on those two, head-to-head. These Ghaaleris seem to be hit-or-miss.

Honestly in a price parity between gaahleri and GSI Creos. I don't see that being any competition. Hit and miss quality has been the theme with them. If your in the 100 ish dollar price bracket and looking for a general purpose or detail brush the 289 and the 270 creos are going to sit at the top of that list. But im not ruling out me checking out the mobius.. Maybe I can over the next 4 weeks find time to film gear videos. I dont want to become a product review channel.. but perhaps if I just knock them all out my viewers wont mind too much.

I'm a sucker for tools and airbrushes. So I bought one of these, it was $99. I don't care for the delay either on trigger, but you're right about the packaging. It's really nice for sure. I found it sprayed fine for me, but if I were to by another brush right now. I'd get another PS-289, they're $88 on Amazon right now. It's crazy how many of these they've given out. It seems like every KZreadr out there got a couple of them lol. But it seems to be a decent brush, it's not junk from my experience. But I fell like the PS-289 is a better brush, at least for me.

And I think almost anyone who has tried both would come to the same conclusion. I do wish everyone would go to compact coated board packaging like this. One being square and compact just makes it much much nicer when you have 25 30 airbrush boxes to store 😅 Well or even a more sane 4 or 5. And the parts diagram should truly help people who are unfamiliar certainly Probably be the new ultra as my next purchase. I’ve not been an h&s fan. But I’m interested in the changes

I bought the ultra the first day SG had it available. I was somewhat disappointed in the trigger, It is not very smooth and very heavy for my liking. I don't care for the notchy feel of the spray guage indicator either. I was tempted to send it back but didn't. I will stick with iwata and creos for best ab's currently being made.

I have the new H&S evolution 2024 model on the easel now.. Ive got a full day of testing in on it. The patriot is well a totally different purpose airbrush. And IMO while they have QC issues the patriot is a WAY better airbrush for modelers and those who wish to paint any thick or heavy paints. The Krome wow mines been in a box a long time, its one of badgers better airbrushes. But the tiny nozzle and hold down ring they share with the sotar are a bit of a pain to maintain. But the Krome is a great sprayer and would fall into the same class as this. As a general purpose-detail airbrush. And not a wide heavy coverage brush. Trying to explain for instance some airbrushes are way better at different things falls on deaf ears. The Iwata micron for instance is a fantastic airbrush, but serves a very limited purpose. Sure you can paint paintings with it.. but its like painting a wall with a brush rather than a roller or sprayer. Your gonna have brush marks everywhere and its gonna take longer. Where you can paint eyelashes with anything.. but your gonna need to mask everything off and waste a lot of paint if you use a paasche VL

I bought both the 98D and the swallowtail both at huge discounts mainly for lacquer and enamel and some acrylics. I will be doing illustrations later, but I’ll probably get the Harder & Steenback new with upgrades or possibly the Iwata side feed trick is to get a smaller cup for those H&S has one that fits I am new to airbrushing almost 70 yrs old a good artist with illustrations landscape etc please do review Mobius .02mm I’ll tell you I don’t like the Mac valve on any airbrush or large cups, appreciate your suggestions

Since the price DECREASE on the GSI platinums i'm always wondering how they even stay in stock. I definitely have no shortage of airbrushes to use around here and my 270 stays very close all the time. But some people are put off by the length and the angled air valve and I can understand that. The way I hold a brush really i can flow between a lot of different airbrushes comfortably, so its never been an issue to me. But thats why theres lots of models to choose from. Choice is a good thing for certain!

  • @TheAIRspace

I got no issues with grex quality.. IM not a fan of some of their ideas. They are rather durable and well made.. But they are not a good choice for fine work. They are also made in taiwan And taiwan quality is generally pretty close second to japanese. Badger well yeah they have let me down more than any company out there. They wont be making QC improvements because well they don't believe its an issue. And that's just truth. And yet I STILL use some of their products.. I've bought maybe 8 badger airbrushes. and 2 had no issues out of the box. Most were things I could quickly correct And well my sotar is a paperweight. And its not like im not well plugged in with a lot of other artists using airbrushes. I am one of the Admins on facebooks largest airbrush page I still browse some forums and read a lot even if I respond a lot less because well time is limited. So its a regular problem. I predict Gaahleri will not be a major player long term. And if they are they will be more like the "master" brand. Which Master is just a bunch of relabeled fengda airbrushes. But they would get a c from me on this brush. Interestingly the mobius uses a different nozzle design Which means they dont believe this one is superior, OR they are relabeled. Im gonna go with relabeled since I JUST got another "brand" that has the same exact nozzle setup in it. More to come on that possible a micro video.

Badger is all over the place with packaging I have plastic/ carboard/ metal/cardboard combination Out of I think 8 badger airbrushes i own, none came in the same style box except the anthem and patriot. (maybe the omni i don't remember) Iwata has been using cardboard for decades, and grex does as well. BUT at the end of the day everyone has different preferences. And variety is the spice of life as they say. While im a fan of how they packaged this brush, the important thing is packaged safely. Best to ya! Thanks Bill

They said it was designed with higher airflow. WHICH should be good for modelers. And guys who like to cover a lot of ground. I felt like the GHAC 98 didn't move as much paint as I personally would like. But that is not anything I could say is "bad" The mobius sure is pretty looking (but the neoeco is pretty from a distance as well and that is NOT a good brush ) And seems priced pretty competitively. If they keep making small improvements they could get up there with the big players.

Thanks for your excellent and honest review. Your honesty is very refreshing in this age of youtube influencers promoting average products as the best thing since sliced bread! I have this brush. It is a decent 40.00 airbrush(certainly not worth 90.00-100.00) My creos ps 270 and 289 are much better quality for around 85.00.. I like my sparmax airbrushes (60.00 -80.00 price range)better also. I find it odd that this decent but average chinese ab is actually more expensive than the two great japanese ab's and the taiwan ab's I mentioned. Lots of marketing is being spent on the Gaahleri line of airbrushes. It would be nice if they spent less on marketing hype and spent more on quality to compete with gsi creos, sparmax, and iwata. They certainly aren't there in quality yet. I would even take my badger ab's over the gaahleri ab's although badger is not without it's faults. The last two I've purchased new in sealed boxes had damaged or missing parts. A call to badger rectified the problem with new parts sent asap to me. However, it shouldn't have happened twice. Badgers have excellent trigger response and excellent atomization with parts readily available and much less expensive than iwata. I rank badger higher than the gaahleri but not of the same quality as creos and iwata. I believe they spray great and I actually prefer their trigger over the creos and iwata.

I can’t be dishonest about products I have some cheap airbrushes I’ve raved about, but even those have minor issues. What I’d overlook on a 30 dollar brush is a different matter entirely I have briefly watched at least a dozen reviews on these. I was reading comments and a reviewer mentioned the cup being close to the trigger as I pointed out. And the “reviewer” told him it was exactly like his eclipse. (Why I used the eclipse in that example). I mean it’s just a thing. There’s other brushes that are closer like that some people don’t mind some do. Why insist something easily disproven? I think this is a solid effort and some great things. Some minor nagging things and some easily correctable things. I could without question make money pushing these. But that’s not my main focus. As a fact I leave links to product I make nothing from because I like the product. I’m of the opinion if I provide value to viewers in the long term it will work out and money today is not a big motivator. Thanks Dave!
