That means you didn't complete the hands correction, you have to move the hands to the 0 position in the correction mode

I'm 50 years old, I have used casio almost all my life all my life. Today 2024 I bought this watch and I was looking for a video tutorial and I realized I have never use my casio watches the right way. I've only bought them for asthetics but in fact they are tool watches. Thanks a lot for this intensive tutorial. I have never seen such a complete tutorial.

Your instructional videos are the best for G shocks. I find it ironic that this is the best selling G-Shock ever made, yet many folks don’t know how to use it for all the functions that it is capable of, and... it is one of the hardest G shocks to read with respect to simply telling time. I’m glad that You chose the most legible model you could find; just so the viewers could read the time on the watch. As always, you set the standard for G-SHOCK instructional videos.

My son was gifted this model in rose gold with a negative display. It is almost impossible to tell the time using either the hands or the digital display...

Bought this model the other day and very happy with it so far. Your video clued me in on the intricacies which are very simple after a play around. The funny thing and the reason for my comment is that for an advertised 'tough watch', the owner's booklet makes it sound as if it's made of tissue paper and fairy floss! Anyway.... This tutorial was amazing and helped set up my watch, but I struggled to understand what the smaller timer on the left of the watch did and what it’s exact functions where in relation to the timer

During night it is hard to see the timing through light option. Is there any other way or function for this. Please advice if anyone has idea on it. Thank you

there is another little tip that unshown in this Video, during the word time page , press the ADJ and REV simultaneously, the world time that you choose will automatically change to current zone time.

I like the dial colors on the GA 100 but I agree it is nice that the 110 has lume. Good grief, this watch is bigger than my head! :) You possess great knowledge on your reviews. I like Casio's and it's crazy that there are fakes. Great point of mention and explaining how to spot a fake. Very helpful! Does Silvertime carry the MRG?

+whatsonthewrist I had no time to answer, but if you think it's crazy someone does a fake of this, you should see fakes of the F91W, which is basically a $10-15 watch, and someone thought it makes sense to fake that!!! Also if you think this watch is big, wait for my next video, this will seem like a toy next to that 😄

Great tutorial. I figured they didn’t bothered with allowing the button to go back while viewing World Time maybe because the watch let you go backward only when you are about to reset date & time. But still it would’ve been nice for the makers to let the wearer view world time back and forth just for its sake.

Mine Is Origanl, its all you have mentioned is there. Haha thank you for this video my money is worth it.

The best detailed and instructive video I have ever watched for sure !

I have a fake GA-110HR with full functions, even the auto light and 3 buttons test that you mentioned fakes wouldn't do...it works. However the 9 oclock section shows only 2 dots instead of 3, and no luminous on hour and minutes hand. So it's obviously a fake... I'm Surprised at how well they can make fake copies of G-Shocks these days

Notice how the sub dial starts ticking after pressing down on the 3 buttons..well the fake does that too. It even shows 5082.82 after pressing the forward button like you did at 34:34 Update: So these fakes are apparently called 1:1 copy original and they're very popular here in South East Asia. They function the same as the original and can usually be bought at 1/3 of the original price. The only thing they cannot 100% copy is the built quality and water resistant rating.

@@WatchGeek That is true, I forgot to mention that the crystal used on the fake is just a cheap plastic that scratches immediately as soon as my blade touches it and the watch feels very light compared to what the original offers. G-Shocks are renowned as one of the toughest watch for a reason. Simply search up "Toughest or most durable watches" anywhere and a G-Shock will definitely show up on the list. The fakes can't even come close to that... They're just ruining the brand name for G-Shock. Anyone with no experience on G-Shocks will have a bad impression on it when they purchase their first "G-shock"

My watch is fake I know it but brought it for 16$ and it has passed every single test you showed 😂😂😂😂.
