This watch is a TANK !!! Fell of my pocket once in a winter time and i was so bummed about it but guess what, snow started melting down few months later and i found it right outside my doorstep still showing the correct time. Not kidding, lost it in December found it in March. Incredibly durable watch. Get one if you are still doubting.
Each time I forget the functions I come back and watch this video - the best tutorial to understand G-Shock!
2016 i bought this GA-100--watched & put your video into watchlist... Today, 6 years later. I changed the battery for the very first time & watch this again because my watch needs total setup. Thank for the video it really help. Instruction so clear.
Got this watch as a gift 2 years ago and it hasn't left my wrist since. I even wear it with formal suits. 100% bulletproof. Now i'm putting the cash together for a G Shock MudMaster.

What a blessing this video has been. Most shops and places where these watches are sold have no idea at all how it works. This video taught me almost everything I wanted to know. Now I love my watch more. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Watching this in 2023! Thank you so much for your time making this. Lots of value to all of us!

Agreed. You know your stuff, but better yet, you know how to explain things to others. That alone is a gift.
What a fantastic explanation of a great little - not so little really, watch. Just bought one but the shop had lost the manual. All I need now is a big enough magnifying glass so that I can read the tiny writing around the dials!
VERY informative!! Thanks for posting this. Owned mine for years & never knew lots of that. Sadly I lost the owner’s manual. I also recently had the battery die & after I replaced it, the hands were off. But thanks to you I got it all set correctly. I appreciate you sir.
Got one of these for Xmas, this video really helped in setting up and understanding all of its features enabling me to make the most of of my new watch. Thank you very much for this video. Amazing!!
Absolutely AMAZING tutorial...thank you very much for making this! Just got my first G-Shock (this one) and your video was a huge help!
This is the best watch review!!! I have 2 g shock watches and the second one set time by your video and after that i watch the video for the first one and i discover and learn so much more. THANK YOU
This video is amazing and Casio should officially recommend it to its customers. Thanks a ton!
Just bought one of these and I was definitely overwhelmed a little with all the different features. Your video helped clear all that up, thank you so much!
I watched it more than 3 times and I have finally understood my watch problems. Thank you
Thank you so much. Fantastic instructions and explanation. I had saved this video as my favorite a couple years ago And I keep coming back to it every time I have to do something with my watch. Today is Tuesday 6/01/2021 and I just replace the battery. Thanks to your video I was able to bring my watch back on time. Thanks again!
thank you brother my watch had that last problem and i didn't know why but you are my savior in need
Just got a 100 and I love it even more so after watching your video. You’ve also helped me with my 110 I inherited from my father in law. Thank you so much
After watching a bunch of different videos I must say you described and broke down everything PERFECTLY!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Best video on this watch hands down!!!
Man You're awesome, I never thought these watches would have these features,. You're really a watch geek... 👏 👏
Watching this in 2019... Absolutely awesome.. gave me every lil bit i needed to know.. in a very simple and easy to understand way...
Very helpful. Just purchased my 2nd one of these after the first one finally broke after about 8 years of abuse. I never knew about some of these features, but with setting up my new watch I found this video, and learned a lot!
Thank you. The service center was charging hell lotta amount for the battery change. This helped me setup my time post the battery change.
I have bought this watch for just 55€. For that pricepoint a real multifunction talent. I can only recomment this G-SHOCK.

Oh my god... im in a mental breakdown, burnout, getting some really needed rest and relaxation... and a thing was bugging me, oh so much... the stopwatch on my g shock was working and i had no clue how to switch it of... I was trying for days already, asking people on the street who are wearing a g-shock to if they had a clue how to do it... Nobody knew. I saw your video, tried the movements and it didnt work again, but the video showed it clearly how to... so definetly it was the forward button, right under, that didnt work... I unscrewed my watch, got the inside out, saw that the metal plate of the forward button was bended a bit... puched it with my screwdriver, it worked now... Got to switch of the stopwatch finally... Problem solved and some more mental rest. Thank you....

Thanks for this great G Shock user manual, I just got the battery replaced after a long while not wearing the watch. You helped me a LOT to adjusting the watch and get it in sync, thanks!!
Thank you so much for making this video I thought my watch was completely broken until you explained how to fix the hands. I have a brand new respect for my watch after watching all the features it has.
That was extremely helpful! Way better then the manual! Thank you for taking the time to make this.
Thanks for the very useful overview. I've had my G-Shock GA-100 since 2015. Best $100 I've ever spent. It's been through gardening, messy oil changes, dog bites, car washes, household cleaning and it's taken all sorts of brutal knocks. I had to disassemble it to remove the filth under the shroud, but still it cleans up nice and you need to look really close to see any damage. The backlight feature sucks, it's only a single LED which makes the digital screens invisible but I can deal with it. Definitely would buy another one on impulse.

Bro thank you for this video. Picked up a new to me GA-100CF-1A9, changed the battery and the hands were all off. Was able to fix them because of this video. Also your overview was SO MUCH BETTER than the instructions on Casio's website. I will definitely be saving this video to refer back to!
I am absolutly loving exploring all of the different g-shock series watches though your videos and others. The GA100 is my favorite so far, I love the looping timer, and the mph calculation.
This video was essential for me in setting up my new GA-100. Thank you for taking the time to make it.

Better than the book. Awesome vid. Had this watch for 10 years. Now I know how it works finally. Just got the Casioak GA 2100 if you fancy doing a video for that
This is excellent. My friend's 7 year old daughter had been playing with my G-Shock and when I got it back from her she'd changed the date, cancelled Daylight Saving...many things really, but they were simple to fix. The watch however was no longer cynced with the digital and analogue each showing me very different times. I watched another 2 vidz before finding this - both were pretty frustrating, but your vid showed me how to do it with one viewing and in less than 30 seconds of adjustment. Top notch vid man - well done, and thank you.

Hi, I found your channel following doing a search regarding the Casio GA100. And gratefully to your dedication to making this video so simple and concise I was able to reset my (Son’s) watch. I was left all my son’s watching following his death almost 8 years ago and a good few of them are Casio watches. I really wanted to get the watch working correctly after I swapped out the dead battery so I could wear it and, I don’t know, bring him closer to me again - I’m not sure I’ve explained that right. It’s just another way I am with him even though I’m not. That sounds crap, too. Never mind, sorry about that. I’ve saved your channel under favourites and have ‘liked’ the hard work and dedication. Thank you. Greetings from Cumbria in the U.K. Stay safe and well.

@@WatchGeekthanks for this.... But can you change it between miles to kilometres or is it just miles?
@WatchGeek
5 жыл бұрын
This question comes up A LOT! The watch doesn't need to know the unit, YOU have to. It is YOU who input the distance, the watch just tells you the speed in distance PER HOUR. So the watch just need the NUMBER so it can calculate the speed which is again a NUMBER. Whether the speed is going to be MPH or KPH depends on what unit YOU used to measure the distance. So YOU need to know the unit of the distance as then speed will be in that unit per hour. If you still don't understand here's an example. Let's say you are going for a drive between New York and Washington, and let's say, for the sake of the argument that the distance between the 2 is 60 miles. If you want to know the average speed in MPH yo would input 60 as the distance. If you wanted that same trip in KPH, you would have to input that distance in KM, and 60 miles is roughly 100km, so in the watch, you would just change the NUMBER from 60 to 100, and the average speed calculated would be in KPH. I hope I managed to explain 😁
It is the best guide on the Internet period. Thank you. I come here every time I change the battery and feel like I've forgotten some of the functions on my watch. Great vid. It is much appreciated. You're the man.

The best video for casio users. Thank you man ! Thanks from Kyrgyzstan !
*_For those of us with negative panels in this model, I learned a hack for light 💡 displacement by refraction, to facilitate panel (or LCD) reading. This is done by placing the finger tip on the dial @ the 6 o’clock position while concurrently depressing the B or Reverse button. In other models of watches, this can also be done from the source wherein the LED or EL emanates. A miracle won’t be performed but it does help._*
