If you were gonna showcase a mudmaster why not show the good ones with solar power and triple sensor, you just showed the worst mud master out of all of the mud masters

Good little video and if anyone is starting a G-Shock collection it makes a good shopping list lol. My personal favourite is the GBD800 - I picked one up quite cheaply (The Mrs is well into daily step count stuff so I kinda needed a step-tracker to keep on her good side and it was an excuse for another G-Shock) by finding a B&M shop with a discount code and its my daily beater now. It has a comfortable strap, is easy to read, tells the time, looks OK without being too flashy.

I've had my rangeman for about 3 years now, a solid time piece. I love not having to worry about it, the compass has helped me and my bro find the truck again when we hiked a little too far out while we were out hunting a few times. Also safe for chemical blend operations won't ingnite flammable vapors, and is pretty much bomb proof. It's worth every single penny.

Good video, nice breakdown of the different watches in the G-Shock series. I have the Rangeman GW-9400 positive display and love it, it is my favourite watch. Interesting to see it got the top spot! I also bought a GW-5600-1, positive display, solar, but not atomic. It was too small for me, the strap which caused some rash or pain. Anyway it is a great watch, but ended up giving it to a friend who really likes it, first G-Shock for her! I'll stick to my Rangeman GW-9400 which serves me well. The only thing I'd like to change would being able to change the date/day order like the newer 5600 models can do. The rescue series watch featured looks nice too.

I have a GA-100 right now. My mom bought me one as a birthday gift like around 2020 and it is absolutely amazing!!! Yes the backlight is an issue that I have with the watch as the lighting is not sufficient during the evening but other than that I love it!

Include the GA-2100WS (white band and blue face). This watch doesn’t have solar or atomic setting, just regular 2100 however it looks awesome! The blue pops and the white band looks great during the summer! I get compliments all the time about this watch. Check it out

I love my GA100-1A1. I understand the complaints about the backlight, but I figure it's all part of the "stealth" feature a military theme should have.

My favourite G-Shock by far is my vintage DW-9900 Frogman. It has everything I need in a digital watch. Made of titanium, mineral glass and a screwback. The only snag is a bezel that is near impossible to find anywhere as NOS.

I've been wearing my GW9400 almost everyday for 6 years now, and it's as effective and reliable as the first day.

I have the gulfmaster for 5 years now . It's ultra rugged . Seriously .. I have hit it really hard accidentally many times against doors and walls I love the fact that I never ever ever have to recharge it or change battery . I always use the compass and it's super accurate . I calibrate time from the time radio reception feature once a year I have auto calendar til 2099 . I'm sure my great grand son would Take it to casio center to recalibrate time for the next century Unlike regular smart watches when someone asks me why your watch costs 32000 INR I can talk for 10 min straight only going through features

Rangeman is the only watch needed ever. I have a big wrist but if it was a little smaller it would be perfect

The compass is always right on the money on my rangman.

compact, big digits on nice display, compass, 20 bar, nice lighting, cheep, good looking - this is about sgw-100

For me, the best g shock would be the ga-001b. It looks great and is highly durable. A good beater with stylish looks. Also u get bluetooth and many master of g features under 100 $.it hasn't the twin or triple sensor but it is one of the best ans smallest g shocks that can fit into many hands. Love it ❤❤❤

I was gifted the number 7 as a birthday gift and I actually wore it to destruction! It was in pieces! The timepiece itself still worked but the case was destroyed and it took 5 years of beating and dailyware and fluctuating temperatures in heat and cold and dry air and water and pool and sauna and showers! I wore a G-Shock to destruction! #Fact!

I have Casio G-Shock with 3 small windows across top... I can't read the # on case in back, 95% sure it's Solar. Phone is dead. Suggestions?

Twin sensor means it navigates on two axes, so to use compass accurate you have to use it parallel to ground. Tripple axes lets to use it in any position.

no, twin= compass/temp, triple= compass/temp/alt,baro compasses don't work vertical

Let it cool down... unless its over 100º outside then just bake in heat and enjoy an accurate temperature reading :)

Hello my friend! Excellent video. Brilliant in fact. Question: every watch mentioned has its initial reference starting with 2 or 3 letters followed by either a number in the hundreds or thousands. Eg GW9400... then we see 1A, or 2A, (in my case 1CR). When trying to decide which model to purchase, could you explain what the main model numbers to look for are? If I wanted the last watch (Gw9400-1CR Rangerman originally made in 2013) but watched something more modernly made, what am I focusing on? Is it the GW9400 part? And what if it says GW9400Y ? What if it doesn't say 1CR? Appreciated the info, would love to know more!

Cause no one answered your question, its the GW9400 internal unit. Then a combination of alphanumeric characters signify the specific model (colour variant) and the market it is intended for. In your case, the CR identifies that the model was made for the American market. There are no actual differences in the watch itself. However, the packaging may differ slightly depending where you purchased it from. Here are some other examples; ER = European market DR = SE Asia JF = Japanese market JR = Japanese market limited release CR = American market

There are 8 watches.......

These all look cool but the sheer size of them keeps me from buying one. Maybe if i did a lot of backwoods camping or something I'd get one. My life just isn't exciting enough to need all those features either. I'll stick with my F-91W for now.

The G shock has always been in my opinion digital and should always have stayed digital, analogue on a casio just doesnt ring a bell, Casio is at its best with the classic digital display, the more mechanical pieces you add to a watch the more can go wrong when its dropped also the hands of the watch just doesnt make sense to be found on a casio out of all watches, this may just be my nostalgia talking but when you think of the brand casio you immidiately either think of the digital calculator Screens or the digital display of the watch in the Classic Square design definetly not a "refined" looking watch with multiple dials and multiple hands in analogue

Don't agree. Casio are a good quartz watchmaker. And they have excelled at making mechanical parts completely shock resistant.

The gg1000 is the best, most popular “premium” mudmaster analogy? 2023? Isn’t this the older model, bottom of the barrel analogy mudmaster watch? This is not their premium watch, and of course there is no solar. The gwg1000 or gwg2000 has solar. That’s the premium mudmaster line for analogy.

Having owned a gstb100d for 3 years. It’s garbage. Single, very quiet and short alarm. Hands block all subdials. It looks awesome and it can take a beating. Wish I had known about the alarm stuff before buying ngl. I should’ve checked more
