Holy shit, I'm impressed. It did work pretty well. I was so concerned about having to go find reasons why the car was acting poorly. Basically I'd have to rev up to 3.5 / 4 RPMs to get the car even moving on first gear before. Just completed the ECU reset and went for a test drive and the car is noticeably better. 1.5 - 2 RPMs was enough to get the car moving on first gear going uphill. Thank you thank you thank you!

Seen multiple videos and guides on how to do this but this timing somehow worked for my car even tho every forum said to do the same thing, bless this man

I’ve gone through changing all coils packs spark plugs and moving on to fuel injectors next can you write out those steps so I can try this first

@@hugome2010 Yours sound like a crankshaft sensor issue.. But go to the parts store and get the code scanned for free before throwing parts at it.

Ok guys i had the same issue and i found the problem. If you get camshaft error code after changing the camshaft bank 1 or 2 check the relay box next to the battery. I found out that the relay for ecu is causing this issue just replace it or swap it for the fog light relay and issue solved no more stalling!

Water gets in the relay box check all fuses to see if water rust is on them change them or change/clean the whole box

Can you post the steps to resetting the ecu pls ? It would greatly help.

I put a pop charger on my 350 04 import and since then I’ve had problems with the power going up the gears, I’ve too really put my foot down for it too go. I’ve no warning lights on or anything.any help would be grateful

Jay Cochrane clean your MAF sensor with MAF cleaner and reset the ECU. Search up on Google “g35 ECU reset procedure”. I hope this helps

Where do you buy your ECU

I had/have a strange issue last nite, went to the game, saw the battery light just came on, shut off the 05 G35 watched the game, came out, No battery light on, went home, but a mile B4 I get home, It goes into Limp mode, got it home, this morning seems to be ok, my scanner wouldnt get past scanning though? Any idea's? Thanks

Couple questions for you: Is it the same reset as one performed by an OBDII reader? And if my car died and wont start, could this help? Mine was already tuned according to previous owner, will that delete the tune?

When you’re counting to 10 is you’re foot on the gas? Or do you do foot on gas for 10 seconds and foot off gas for 10 seconds?

i reset and still hesitated when accelerating it seems to be a misfire. you think spark plugs and coil packs could fix it?

I just had my g35 all sensors changed and I had my starter changed. But my car still has loss of power and it won't go over 90mph. I think it might be the fucking the air intake performance.

I have big throttle nwp and motordyne arts also jwt pop charger and z tube and plenum spacer my idle after the throttle body install ( last upgrade to date) the idles been at 1k and sometimes drops and kinda sputters but still can hit highway speeds np . I guess its all those mods or something else? Needs a tune?

TAP sensor! Happened to me!

I know this is an old video. but yesterday after cruising with my friends, going home I hear my exhaust sounded different like it didn’t sound like a VQ anymore. then the P0057 pop up and I replaced my O2 sensor and and also tried to reset the ECU. still sounds differently and still has that power loss. PLEASE HELP ME! I cant find anything online.

Yesterday out of curiosity I did the cluster test in the morning.after work ounce I was ready to go home I started the car and it hesitated I was like wtf maybe I’m trippin.i have it a bit of gas and it was all good.well right now after work Omw home it was sputtering from 1k-3k.do you think the cluster test did this or was it just coincidence?Thank for your time

What do you mean by loss of power? I have the same year G35 and I experience loss of power that will cut and restore in 1st and 2nd gear it will also lurch the car and chirp tires. Ive got crank sensor codes and a U code relating to the crank sensor circuit which have all been replaced (cam x2 and crank) this is probably a larger issue (ECU replacement) than what you have going on here but I’m just curious if that is what you mean by loss of power?

i did it in my accord v6. you're supposed to reset the ecu anytime you put on mods that affect drivetrain so the ecu is driving correctly. i have no mods, but the shift points were terrible, you could tell a grandma was the previous owner. with the reset, the ecu is running at max potential for me because it underatands how i drive, and in this case it made my car faster in acceleration

I’m tuned now. Every thing is good!!

Driving 40 mph about 2000 rpm, suddenly I felt a little tug or loss of power. I looked at the rpm cluster gauge and it went to 0 then after about 1 second I went right back up to 2000 rpm What do you think is going on? I also think a have a bad tensioner, because I have rattle at start up when cold and, no rattle when warm I have codes that say air flow sensor but They’ve been changed. Same codes

I was looking into buying a 04 g35 but he had some mods done to it. Car has jwt s1 cams Headers Motordyne art pipes Borla true dual exhaust Cold air intake Kinetix manifold New oem timing chains and tensioners New oem water pump Has brembo upgrade (comes with new drilled and slotted rotors and stop tech pads) New front bumper & he said the car currently going into limp mode. Was curious to know if any of those mods was causing it.

Camshaft, get it scanned to see which one you need, bank 1 or 2, just replaces the one with an elbow yesterday, all codes disappeared and runs like new

Just disconnect the battery and pump the brake pedal a few times to discharge the ecu capacitors.... even days that in the owners manual.

@@addisonlandfried6530 mines doing it changed fuel tank air filters vvt. cam shaft. gonna try and clean the throttle body and the maf sensor so say the cats r clogged sum say tranny it depends but t a ecu reset wont fix this ive tried many times not throwing a code no idea.. does ur car have power when its cold. not like just started but middle ways does it have power
