This solves every problem that I had with the Boss ES-8 that I would use to ritualistically tell myself "This is why you don't need an ES-8 yet"...but now I can't use those reasons to tell myself why I don't need one of these 😭😭😭😭 THANKS DAN FOR MAKING ME UNABLE TO TELL MYSELF I DON'T NEED THIS

I have made a few attempts at reaching Gary for the PPD for my gigrig 2 which I bought a power supply from.Im trying to use an a/b switch to bypass the gigrig for a 3rd amp and use the gigrig for the 2 other amps and pedals.By the way l love the videos,so many ideas and options!

How does this compare to the Musicom Lab EFX-LE 2? I'm researching alot, but its a bit all new to me. alot of info.

Question: does each pedal on my board require a send & return pair on the back of G3? Aka, does the atom only take up to six pedals and the main G3 take up to 12? Trying to figure out which one I need based on how many pedals I want to put on my board.

It appears you removed the volume pedal connections, how do you hook up the humdinger on the G3 to do wet dry wet, for the stereo wet effects and the dry drive with 3 amps?

Hi Dan. On the stereo: with a standard stereo pedal you’d use a TRS to TS splitter cable(s) and use the TRS end(s) into a single Atom loop?

Each loop on the Atom is TRS stereo. So use a TRS from Atom send to left/right input on the pedal, then left/right out of the pedal to TRS return

any chance on mixing stereo loops in paralel? i meen, delay L out 1 delay R out 2 (mix in paralel (not series like normal one)) reverb L out 1 reverb R out 2 in a wet dry wet will be nice.

Hi Dan, I am really starting to get into pedals, I have a small board set up at present with tuner, overdrive , reverb that’s about it , but I want to expand into using delay and a few other effects, I am after is full tone drive 3 which I have purchased second hand hardly ever used, would like to add bellapoch really like my hall of fame reverb. Also want to consider using preamp with effects loop. I am not sure if it would be of use to me to have one of your g3 gig rig switchers hence me asking for some guidance, I feel some of my pedals aren’t really being used to their potential . Starting out with pedals I find is daunting , I want to be able to place a pedal either before or after another pedal, so this g3 seems to be the only one I can see how to do this. Apologies for the long message hope you can advise. Thanks.

This is the one I'd want. 6 stereo loops + all the other functionality from the larger G3. I'd assume that the stereo loops could be configured to loop two pedals in mono?

Hi Matt, the Atom's 6 loops can be configured in both Mono and Stereo. Stereo loops are achieved via TRS to Dual Mono Y-cables. You can have 6 Stereo loops (via TRS) or 6 Mono loops as standard. You can also add up to 2 Remote Loopy 2s to add 4 more Mono loops to your Atom! Hope this helps! Feel free to send us an email to support@thegigrig.com if you have any further questions. 🤟

G3 - H9 - CB Preamp MkII: As far as I understand the G3s midi setup it should be possible to midi-control parameters of either one of these pedals per preset. Is it possible to control different parameters on the H9 and the Chase Bliss Preamp MkII simultaneously with one Expressionpedal connected to the G3? .

Hey Dan, can you please confirm that the following would work? 2 Amps setup and one fxloop Loop 3 Humdinger out to Dry amp 2 Loop 4 Preamp Amp 1 and FX Send from Amp 1 Loop 5 Delay Output 1 --> FX Return Amp1 Can I re-order the loops in a way that I would have the Delay in front of both amps (so Loop 5 before Loop 3) and another patch with the Delay only in the FX Loop of Amp1 in standard order?

@@TheGigRigDaniel that’s unfortunate there goes my Meris stereo pedals with TRS. However when you setup a board, the stereo effects are all run in series in one loop? I’m thinking of Rabea’s strymon bridge with MIDI.

Well 10K is a little bit exaggerated but yes... This "simple rig" cost as much as my 7 string guitar + tube amp + 4x12 cab + the only few pedals I got. So... I totally get your point x)
