Beautiful video! Back in 2004 I was submariner and visited the Goteborg once during its final stage of construction; It’s wonderful to see the ship under sail. Thank you for sharing these videos. All the best from the Netherlands!

How majestic...what a privilege it must be to be given the chance to sail on this wonderful ship. Would probably be a highlight of one's life...

Stem stem of the ship was the most important aspect of a seaworthy ship. As the stem disappeared the sailors would jump ship in Shanghai to get off the death trap to which they were conscripted

Love the ocean, but not enough to get on a boat. Love people, but not enough to be stuck in a small space with them. I'd freak out, they'd panic and throw me overboard for mission survival. I know it. lol

immigrants made that boat in the beginning. Native seal hunters could care less. Y dna reveals more than 1000 years...south men made the boats.

it is a beautiful ship but it is also a waste of trees cuz it serves no purpose except to look at thousands of trees just to look at a ship I would rather breathe fresh clean air

+ocn2u You do know that trees can be planted right? There´s so much trees in Sweden. There was probably more trees falling over due to storms in 1 week than the people taking wood to build this ship.
