This dish brings to us so many memories of our childhood. You are absolutely right in saying that whenever our moms were unable to decide what to cook for dinner, then daal pittha was a very good option and it tasted best with stuffed red chilli pickle. Your recipe is very nice. However my mom and my mom in law, both make this recipe in pressure cooker by adding the daal and pittha together and cooking on low flame. But I am definitely going to try it your way. I admire the way you try to cook our traditional recipes in such a simple way. Also, your narration is so organized and helpful. I have been trying a lot of recipes from your channel. 💐

Kabitaji 🙏🙏I'm gujarati n it is our favorite dish.generally we make every Sunday in lunch. N we add 2 ya 3 spoon Chana aattaa ,gram flour as this combination don't allow dhokli to break in dal.n eat with aaachar...so tasty 😋 👌👌

I love Dal ki dulhan ...😋 ,Mai bhut khati hu Ye mujhe bhut pasand bhi h.... Isme upper se chop kiya hua tomato, onion ,green chilli & fresh coriander leaves +desi ghee q teaspoon.... = completely Dal ki dulhan.... 😋
