Göktürk Civil War and Division | The Celestial Turks Episode 4

The Turkic Golden Era is over. With the death of Taspar, the last great Göktürk ruler, the Empire is on the brink of civil war. But as the four contenders for the throne are about to duke it out, the new Sue Dynasty in China is threatening Turkic officials in Chang’an. Forced to leave China altogether, they ask for help in Ötüken. There, Ishbara has made himself Khagan. Despite efforts by his three rivals Apa, Amrak and Tardush to dethrone him, Ishbara gathers an army and attacks the Sue Dynasty along the Great Wall.
As they rate the Chinese threat a higher priority than their own internal quarrels, all four Göktürk nobles agree to a cease-fire and to invade the Sue Empire once and for all. But the split of the Göktürk Empire is inevitable. Soon, the state will fall into political chaos. As several natural disasters hinder economic growth, unrest among the Turkic tribes leads Bagha Khan, another Ashina nobleman, to directly invade Sassanian Persia, even advancing as far as Afghanistan.
Simultaneously, the conflict with China broadens as the Sue Emperor learns of a secret alliance between the Göktürks and the Goguryeo Kingdom in Korea. In this volatile situation, a certain group of Göktürks decides to become subjects of the Chinese, enjoying their military protection - and forcing themselves to fight off their own relatives. Indeed, dark times are ahead for the Göktürks.
Will they recover from this catastrophic situation? Let’s find out.

Emperor Wen of Sui was truly the Göktürk's most dangerous enemy; because Emperor Wen had Xianbei lineage in him (a Mongolic / Tungusic / Turkic confederation) and thus knows the Turkic cultural mindset; He knows exactly how to think like a Turk. In fact it is an era where it is not strange to have the Emperor of China also claim the title of Heavenly Khagan (Sui-Tang era) - a feat not repeated until Yuan era some 4 centuries later.

History of the Suí dinasty", chapter 84: The superiority of the Göktürks is in their cavalry and archers. When they are in a winning position, they advance with fury; but when danger comes, they withdraw with the speed of the wind, and disappear like lightning, without preserving order. Bows and arrows serve them as claws and fangs. Helmet and cuirass are their usual attire. Their detachments do not go in order, their camps do not stand still. They stop wherever they find grass and water; rams and horses provide food for their army. If they win, they stop and seek the wealth of the enemy; if they are defeated, they withdraw without any shame. They do not burden themselves with night duty, nor do they keep watch during the day; they do not waste their strength in building fortifications, or in storing provisions. But when Chinese soldiers go to war, they [Göktürks] behave very differently. If the Chinese enter the battle with the Göktürks, they [Chinese] rarely win. If we begin to imitate them now, if we adapt to their means, they will not be able to overcome us, and they will not attack us again. -Emperor Yang of Suí

Why was this army that originated near Hong Kong in the southernmost part of China so powerful? It swept across a large area of China today. The Qing Dynasty actually could no longer control it. They were just subjects or vassal states of the Qing Dynasty. When you knew that the Anglos were coming, you should You understand why. Today’s Chinese government also originated from here. Just like the Israeli Jews who have been unknown for thousands of years, suddenly one day they gathered a powerful army. At this time, you should have guessed that the Anglos appeared again. India was originally an Islamic country, but suddenly one day a self-proclaimed Brahmin organization and army appeared, and the Anglos appeared behind it without any suspense. The real China today, its external characteristics are more like the culture of the people in the provinces near Hong Kong. and values

Around 1850, a major war broke out from Chang'an to Xinjiang. Tens of millions of Muslims who were originally born in this land disappeared. A Han army rose up in the southernmost part of China and destroyed the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, which was under the banner of Christianity. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom occupies half of the land of today's China. After the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, this army entered Chang'an and started another war with the Muslims. Chinese written records indicate that tens of millions of people died or moved westward. Don't think that the number is huge. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom The war had hundreds of millions of casualties, which is already very small. Of course, the Chinese do not have Arabic numerals, and their counting ability is very problematic. Sometimes it is just a metaphor and not a real number. After all, they have no concept of numbers. When he showed something The mainstream social and cultural population in the vast areas from Chang'an to the Uighurs in Xinjiang are Muslims. To this day, the remains of Muslims in these areas still exist, but on a very small scale. People who experienced the migration of this war live in Central Asian countries today.

The climate in northern China has been getting colder, which has prompted Siberian herdsmen to move south. Fortunately, most of the Huns and Turks have moved westward for more than a thousand years. Otherwise, it would have been miserable like those who stayed in 1850. If the Turks There are also a large number of people living in the area from Chang'an to Xinjiang. The probability of being affected is 100%. Most of them have been killed. The Xiongnu Turks continue to move southward and enter India for the same reason. The north is getting colder and desertification, and they are moving westward and southward. It is a trend, and then the history of China and India became shaped by the Huns and Turks. It is hard to say how many primitive indigenous people exist or not. Just like the indigenous people of the Americas, only God knows how many there are. They live a good life. , suddenly one day the Anglos came and told them that you were the oppressed and wanted to rise up and fight. Then disaster really struck. He couldn't even figure out the origins of these rebels, so they were Inspiring full of inexplicable hatred
