@@MrTeichmerbut yeah another kid from my team was insane good. Like 6 time Maryland State champion. Placed in state’s the first year on the team. Just naturally gifted. But he didn’t wrestle at all in high school let alone college. I won the state’s my last year in junior league. Kinda felt bad because I was old enough to be wrestling in high school. But there was a coach who wanted to get my county kicked out of the state tournament. Well the only wrestler he had in the finals was wrestling me. So I majored him. 9-3 and gave him the 2 at the end because I was tired. I didn’t say anything to the coach but my coach said “ so I thought we were good enough to be here” as they were shaking hands. Arrogant bastard. We had like 3 champions out of the 20 or so weight classes. We were one county, the other two were beach half the state. Like of course they’re going to have more champions. They each got 6 wrestlers from what would be their county tournament. Where we only got the top 3. Which is fair. I mean there are times where one of our county champions would get pinned in the first period. But actually now that I say that I pinned the #1 seed from that league with a headlock which on my knees. lol. His dad lost his mind. You probably don’t believe me. Shit idk if i would. @@BeardOfPower7 I was district champion in 3 weight classes. Our team was way too small to be there so I ended up wrestling in 4 weight classes. At the heaviest, the first match my opponent sucked, but still just rolled over on me and pinned me quick. Second match wasn't much better 😂 We just needed a body to participate in the weight class, and I barely gave them that. The three divisions below that I went undefeated, yet my dad only showed up for the two matches I got made a fool of 🤣

3 years in high school and 1 semester in college. These kids were skilled and very comfortable on the mat. Scrambling like that and knowing where they are at the moment.
Incredible. So keyed into how their body can work!
Bro rivalry’s in wrestling was one of the most interesting parts for me in high school I only wrestled one year but I remeber every good wrestler on my team had some kid that they had wrestled a couple times every season and they would go back and forth and we would end up seeing them at a meet and they would be like “there’s that god damn kid, he beat me last season but I whooped him the season before that” makes the matches a lot more interesting and competitive for both guys
If every kid was like this our military would be unstoppable

These kids are raised like that
Usually it’s one kid dominating the other. I rarely see two of equal skill. That’s pretty great seeing the evolution of combat sports. The younger they learn the better they are and the better to teach to others when they grow up. Ever growing into something better. Honestly that’s what makes sports so great. If it all stayed the same we would stop watching it.
I love seeing kids involved in sports.😊😊😊
Very impressive! They're both already great relative to their age, they're going to be extremely capable as adults.
Holy hell most of us weren't that good in Highschool lol! Great work kids keep it up!!
Wonderful to watch,it's a shame one of them had to lose.

Yes, they are both very high level. I hope they both stay with the sport of wrestling and avoid burnout. I only say this because I have seen it so many times. “All World “ at age 7 and then quitting the sport never to wrestle again when they are assertive enough to make their own decisions. I had my own foot too hard on the gas pedal and had to learn to let up.
