The Army Research Laboratory and industry partners demonstrated the flying capabilities of a unique rectangular-shaped quadcopter during a visit from Department of Defense officials Jan. 10, 2017.
Dr. William Roper, director of the Strategic Capabilities Office at the Office of the Secretary of Defense and members of his staff visited the Aberdeen Proving Ground laboratory to see the joint tactical aerial resupply vehicle, or JTARV.

300 lb. lift capacity though, get some duct tape and wire ties, the PVTs can make it happen.
Makes you wonder where this tech is going to lead us into the future.

This isn't a hoverbike, it's another UAV; except this one apparently holds packages (how long before drug runners are using this type of tech)?

It’s a military pick up drone not a hover bike, what I imagined.
Too noisy. Unless they make it quiet it'll get shot down.

+Ozinsky Originally it has been designed to carry a grown person, so unless they put on it 100kg+, it will be hardly happening.
