Can’t wait! I’m the oldest of three girls so I’m not entirely familiar with the raising of boys. I want to get as much information on how that should be done now while I’m single, so when I get married and have a bunch of children, I’ll be better prepared to raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. ❤

My brother is still looking for a wife 😂
Being raised the only girl in a family of seven children but attending a godless, feminist anti-masculinity public school system that targeted my brothers who especially displayed developing strong masculine behavior-only to shame and punish them for it makes me so. incredibly. grateful. for a celebration of masculinity. For the sake of my own sons if I have any some day, for my younger brothers, and for the current and upcoming generation of Christian men. Thank you for doing this project.

Well said. I'm sorry you all had to go through that. I pray God will use your experience to give you all a fervency for raising/protecting the future generations so that this never happens again. In Jesus name and according to his Father's will, amen.
Raised in a Christian household, but my mother wore the pants. Every time my younger brother and I would get into masculine hobbies (boxing, motorcycles, bodybuilding, camping etc.), mother would shame us by saying things like "that's not who you are" or "where did this come from? Who are you trying to imitate?" In my thirties and she's still shaming us for embracing our patriarch identities!
And the sad thing is that we are in a culture that doesn’t even know what boys are. Yes the church needs to raise their boys to be Godly men.
No man is “fearless”. To expect this of a young man exposes one’s own ignorance of and inexperience in violent and or critical incidents. On the contrary, it is “courage” that must be cultivated in a young boy’s heart. The ability to rise above the natural response of fear and act decisively in a crisis situation. This calls for mental, emotional, spiritual and physical strength. Courage is the result of competence, as well as confidence in one’s physical and mental abilities. The courageous man must have, not only the capacity and capability for violence, he must also have a biblical morality that governs and ensures it’s just use.

Exactly! Well said and right!
My children are all toddlers. They're learning blacksmithing, car repair, farming, firearms, gardening, carpentry, electrical, to look a man in the eye and not flinch, and above all mental grit and the ability to act when in emergency situations. By the time they are young men at age 14, I expect them to have a bigger spine and more skills than 50 soy boys combined.

I feel SO bad for your children.
First time dad to be. While my wife is having a girl, watching this series has definitely brought insight!
Wow so great to see this a man! I hope eventually the rest of the church Encourages men to rise up in a Biblical way cuz sadly I don’t see Much talk about this at all in much of any churchs by and large that I know of
I’m so excited! I absolutely loved the book and it has tremendously helped me shape into the man I am called to be.

Can’t wait to watch this!! This is exactly what I want for my four sons.
Awesome! I'm a mom of 3 boys and want to grow amazing men.
Thank pastor and every one involved in making this. I rand many like me really need such content. Though I can do nothing physically to help you guys out. My prayers will be with you.❤
Yes!! Been ready for this to come out since I read the book💪🏼
Just LOVE IT!!! Thank you so much Pastor Doug & Canon Press!!! Looking forward to this fantastic docuseries!!! This is exactly what our nation and the world needs for such a time as this!!!
Love it!! Thank you pastors! ❤❤❤
Wow, looks like a great documentary
This one knocked it out of the park!
Amen. Let's do this
Excited for this -- looks great!
As a gal I loved Eve in Exile and I'm looking forward to this vicariously for the guys who will benefit from it! :)
This looks Stellar
So pumped for this!
We need this!
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this--I was genuinely impressed with what they did with "Eve in Exile". I was worried that it would be a diatribe on women staying home and fulfilling 1950s gender roles--it wasn't at all. Thought they did a great job of nuancing the discussion and going back to biblical truths. I'm sure they'll do the same here!
I'm raising five boys. I want desperately to equip them to be and do all God intends for them. I greatly fear failing them in my own maternal sympathies. I probably need to re-read Mr. Wilson's book on the subject, but I'll look forward to this docu-series as well.
Even in the words Future Men, we are jolted into the realization of what boys are. Raising 3 future men myself and looking forward to this. Now to catch up on NQN.
Word!
The Righteous are as Bold as Lions.
Maybe a dumb question- but where do I find this stuff? Looking on the “videos” for this channel I don’t see them.
🔥🔥🔥
Unless he's armed, I'm teaching my son to run away from the gunfire. Even with a gun... Other than that, looks great. 😉

@@CanonPress so you're saying my username is based? Besides, my son runs towards the gunfire, he could end up a POW... It was only a small nitpick, I'm still in awe of the King of Postmill.

@@CanonPress so I've reverted to a closer approximation of my birth name out of respect for, and my unhealthy adulation of Pastor Doug... and Wade. Let's get real, it's all about Wade at this point.

Wow 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have served with some brave and bold men, and most of them were not Christian or even religious at all. It makes sense in my mind to be willing to self-sacrifice with a belief of life after death and for the sake of the God you believe and worship.. but the mindset of throwing yourself in harms way to protect others makes no sense to me if one was an atheist or had no regard for God. If one thought this life was the only one they had, why risk it for someone else to live?.. and yet the men I served with did this, and better than most, and some died doing it. I begin to think of all the men throughout history who were like this, and they died not knowing the Lord, but they had a heart to put themselves in harms way for a greater purpose.. I don't know what to think of it because it absolutely breaks my heart. That godless men would do such courageous things, and how the rest of the world just expects men (Christian or not) to bare these weights, and men do it, die, and are forgotten and end up in hell.
Cmon!
💪🏼⚔️🐉
How do you do this as a single mom?? HELP!

Take them to church, pray with them, and study God's Word. I wrote lullabies for my children to help, as well.

This is one reason the increase in single parents is so alarming. Diligently seek out men and groups that can help raise your child with these qualities. Scrutinize your choices continuously. Perhaps seek out a husband who will fit this bill.

Give them stories of strong men, like Narnia, Lord of the Rings, GA Henty's books. Find examples of godly men in your church who can mentor your boys. Encourage them towards godly masculinity, tell them and point to examples of what godly masculinity is.

See if you have a local Trail Life USA organization and if not see if your churches mens group would think about starting one. My fondest memories as a boy was outdoors activity it was also there that I was able to focus on Christ and my salvation. Our chapter last night discussed service and obedience with the boys while pointing to the strong example we have Christ in these things. We also had some time to run around.

Get back together with your husband (if he is no longer living remarry) "Be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives" 1 Peter 3:1

Yes be brave! But I wouldn’t tell little kids to run at Goliath unless they have a sling and some stones. ⚔️⚒️
Men have always been told "do the right thing". The problem is women are told "do what's right for you".
Looks great! except for saying you want your little boy to run towards a murderous adult with an AR, that's pretty weird.
Churches need to be the home of Christian boys and men. We should be teaching boys how to be men, teaching martial arts (wrestling, boxing, BJJ etc), we should be teaching them apologetics and how to be leaders. The church has really disappointed and failed men and a lot of boys that have become men now including me. I had to find these things outside of the church and thank God I was grounded in the faith because I was able to wisely separate Christian ideals from the secular ones because I had a present father. However, a lot of young boys and young men unfortunately don’t.
Many people don't even have children for the Biblical reasons and when it comes to raising them the price is too high for the parents - the kids become a burden to them. Government schools are the civil dumping place where they know kids will at least learn how to tie their own shoes laces. Anyway who cares about the rest right. I'm not cynical, I've just seen it happen in too many Christian families. It's difficult to distinguish between Christians and lovers of the world. It's how we got to this dire situation. Us Christians need to build backbone and very fast as time is running out fast.

@@ifyouloveChristyouwillobeyhim The Almighty Trian God has already helped us - He sent His Son. Yes He allows the bad in our lives but He also gave us this promise in 1 Cir 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (KJV) As long as we stay in God and keep our focus on the Word, we have nothing to fear
With all due respect it’s not fearless we are after that is irrational- it’s men who move to the sound in spite of fear. That’s true courage as all soldiers truly know. In HIS service. #RLTW 12-92.
》1:36《 "We want our kids running TOWARDS the sound of gun fire" ...wtf!!!
