Another top installation Mark. The system you installed in my HiLux 12 years ago, is still working as good as ever. I use it nearly every day, for work and play and I can't fault it. Once the 2025 HiLux is released, I'll be seeing you again. 😊

Nice set up, with the ladder I noticed you could access everything from the second step so how about a table/platform the same length of canopy that slides in that storage area? Just a thought!

Yes these customers collected the vehicle today and they do actually have a folding platform they will use....and it doubles as a seat for them. They are all over it :)

Lets hope drifta can come to the UK .....not through other companies

That table is next level. Single plane, 10 seconds to put out legs and have the legs be adjustable, looks good. What material is the actual table top made from?

Thank you. Its all 12mm plywood - laminated top (like a kitchen work bench) and full adjustable galvanized steel legs. All hand made by Drifta in Gloucester, NSW.

What Fuso model is that?

getting a SWB fuso like this.. What's the rough estimate on a canopy like this.

The cost can vary a lot pending so many variables and options. The work we did in this canopy was to design + build all the cabinetry/storage, plus supply/install the 12v components - Circa $20k-$25k (2023). But every fit out is very different, and the costs are also. Worth noting that Drifta are very good at working within a set budget if needed - custom made units so if we need to simplify the design to reduce costs we can.

Do you need a LR licence to drive these ?

If the GVM is over 4500kg then you need a LR. But you can downgrade the GVM to 4500kg and stick with your car licence.
